Unwind in the barrel sauna or gather around the fire pit under the stars. Discover a small public beach, boat launch and dock within walking distance. Explore local distilleries, breweries, and shops or adventure into nature for countless activities.

Tranquility on Eagle Lake

Just steps from the water's edge, this a-frame cottage is nestled into a private cove on the picturesque Eagle Lake in the Almaguin Highlands. Our family's cherished space is available for families or couples (maximum 4 adults) to rest and rejuvenate. There is a Queen bed in one bedroom and a bunkbed in the other bedroom. However, a unique loft will offer the best view of the morning sunrise with a queen bed there too. A peddle boat and two kayaks with life jackets are included in the rental.

Summer at the cabin is idyllic. Enjoy a swim off the dock in the spring fed lake. Picnic outdoors or go for a hike. Take the canoe for a silent paddle and have a small campfire in the pit. When you are ready to experience our beautiful Northern Ontario Wilderness, but have most of the comforts of home, we are ready to welcome you. World famous Algonquin Park is a short hike away and wildlife is often spotted. Peace and quiet are yours in our tiny cabin perched on the edge of our private lake.

Situated just 20 minutes south of North Bay, this small, basic, and old-fashioned retreat is perfect for couples, families, and fishing enthusiasts seeking a classic Northern Ontario getaway. The cabin comes equipped with all the basic amenities you’ll need, including two bedrooms, kitchen, living room, and a bathroom with a stall shower. You’ll have your own private yard, a lovely fire pit for evening gatherings, and a private dock.

Take in the sunsets, walk the trails, nap in the hammock, roast some marshmallows, paint a picture, read a book, listen to the birds, the trees, the wind. Leave connected, peaceful and rejuvenated.

Our cedar barrel sauna with window provides a backdrop for some of the best sunsets and becomes a magical expanse in the winter months. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This cabin is available all winter. Lots of trails on the property and many more longer trails nearby for the outdoor enthusiasts! Ideal for atvers, snowmobilers, snowshoers, hikers, etc. Just bring your bedding and groceries. My chickens are working hard to make sure there are fresh eggs available for your stay. Great News! I have just completed building a separate shower house with walk in shower and vanity.

The hot tub and brand new wood burning sauna are features you will be sure to enjoy. This building is wheelchair accessible. We are just 10 min off Hwy 11 and 10 Min to the town of Powassan. Enjoy over 70 acres in nature all to yourself. A wonderful peaceful escape for anyone. Located right on the South River.
