200 year old Gardener's cottage, Mid Wales

Dan y Coed means 'under the trees'. Our cottage has nestled under the wooded hillside of Tan yr Allt for 200 years. The cottage is on the outskirts of Llanidloes, a 10 minute walk to town. We pride ourselves on guest satisfaction and the cottage is equipped to a high standard. We welcome all people and well behaved pets (downstairs). Come, enjoy the opportunity to walk, cycle, sail, fish or just relax. We are eco friendly in every way possible. Caring for the planet and guests a top priority.

The Byre @ Nantygwreiddyn Barns

Reconnect with nature and enjoy the spectacular views from our hill farm in the Black Mountains. The historic stone barn has been sympathetically converted into two adjoining cottages. The Byre, with two double bedrooms and The Sheep Pen, a double bedroom with double sofa bed downstairs. Fully self contained with kitchen areas, internet, smart TVs, handy USB sockets in all rooms and bedding and towels provided. Guests have access to our 60 acres of land where we keep rare breed sheep and deer.

St Mark's School

Relax and unwind in this beautiful converted 1880s school. Plenty of original school features are still on display. Situated 15mins drive from the royal Welsh show ground in Builth, 15mins from Rhayader and the Elan Valley, 15mins from Spa town Llandrindod wells, just over an hour to Aberystwyth and west coast beaches, it is the ideal location! The house sits on the edge of a forestry leading up a hill with stunning views and lots of dog friendly walks/bike rides. Ideal for fishing in the Wye!

Little Pudding Cottage 's Welsh name is Pontbren-Ddu and is a beautiful example of a country hideaway. Nestled in the Welsh countryside, just into the Cambrian Mountains, it enjoys the splendour of nature and peaceful calm of times past. The accommodation is full of character and original charm, while maintaining the modern comforts of home. With its own garden, this former shepherd's cottage is surrounded by rugged hills and an unspoilt rural landscape at the very end of a single-track road.

Dolfan Barn Studio is so named because an artist once worked here, prior to that it was a cow byre. Just under a mile out of the village of Beulah the Studio is a perfect place to unwind. You will find plenty of wildlife to watch from the patio including Pheasants Squirrels and Red Kites. The village has a service station, shop and "The Trout Cafe" serving good home cooked food. We think that's a pretty accurate description given its dramatic tall outline and the unusual features found in the interior. It's a peaceful, dog friendly holiday retreat in beautiful Mid Wales close to the Brecon Beacons, Llanwrtyd Wells, Elan Valley and Builth Wells. Please note that the steep stairs make this property unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues.
