Dolfan Barn Studio is so named because an artist once worked here, prior to that it was a cow byre. Just under a mile out of the village of Beulah the Studio is a perfect place to unwind. You will find plenty of wildlife to watch from the patio including Pheasants Squirrels and Red Kites. The village has a service station, shop and "The Trout Cafe" serving good home cooked food. Ffosmascal is a rural, quirky home from home. Relax amidst the beautiful hills of mid Wales, perched up above Rhayader - gateway to the Elan Valley and yet 20-30minutes walking to the pubs, cafes and shops of the old town. A spacious converted barn refurbished with sensitivity and charm, attached to the old farmhouse (owners residence). Limited head height upstairs. Extremely peaceful and found at end of unmade track, unsuitable for low lying cars but can be navigated with care.
