Brand new home in a new development. About 10-12 minute very easy drive to Blacksburg. Perfect size for our family - 2 adults and 1 teen. Everything was very clean and brand new. Convenient for our visit to VT. Quiet/safe neighborhood, family friendly, lots of friendly neighbors walking their dogs and waving hello. Comfortable bed, spotless bathroom, nice sized kitchen with everything you'd want. Would definitely stay here again.

The home was much more than I expected. My host was super.

We had a great time during our stay. The beds were comfy, the cabin was clean and very nice, and the hot tub was a fantastic addition! Definitely was able to rest and relax and everyone slept so well! I will for sure seek this place out for our next stay in the area.

Beautiful home with excellent views of the lake and valley--it was especially lovely as the leaves were turning. Also, the place has dark skies for star-gazing on a clear night. All rooms were clean and as-presented in the photos and description. Jeff sent some very helpful info and photos to help us drive in to the house--especially helpful since the last ~1 mile is on a private, relatively narrow road. Also, my Android Maps app on my phone was clearly sending me to the wrong location (i.e., not to the lake), so we relied on my spouse's I-Phone--which brought us right in. (Interestingly, Google Maps on my laptop had showed the correct location, but Google navigation on my phone was pointing elsewhere.) Recommend you pre-check your nav feature in advance of your arrival. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a serene location with great views and lake access.

We get together with our friends and their children every year around Thanksgiving for a Friendsgiving. We met in college (VT) so this year we decided to attend the VT vs UVA game together. The cabin was great. Overall, we’d recommend this place to stay just a short while from VT.

Debbie was a responsive, helpful host. The home is beautiful and well maintained.

This home was everything we hoped it would be…convenient to Virginia Tech, comfortable for our extended family and perfectly clean. And Michael was an awesome host making sure we had everything we needed and very prompt in all of his communications. Thank you for a great weekend with family!

We had a last-minute booking due to a funeral in the area and was very thankful that the Airbnb was able to accommodate us. Her home was quiet and relaxing with a beautiful view from the back room and cozy seating.

We were in town to visit Radford University and needed a place that allowed dogs. Wesley Pine Cottage was a great pick! It was clean, cozy and the surrounding neighborhood was very peaceful. The 10 minutes drive to Radford was a plus. Samantha is a wonderful host!

Beautiful countryside setting. A comfortable and cleverly well-appointed place that makes you want to return again and again. We really like this place. It's easy to get to all 3 towns (Radford, Christiansburg, and Blacksburg) from here. Fun to watch the horse play around with the goats.

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious home on Claytor Lake! It was very clean, and well stocked. We were just a family of 5 that weekend and didn’t even use the basement - this home would be ideal for a couple of families with all the space it has. I would love to go back in the summer to use all outdoor amenities the house had to offer.

Cozy home with beautiful view of lake. Fire pit and deck provided extra outdoor space for family.

This was a perfect getaway home for two Hokie families to spend a long weekend! The use of the kayaks was great as we got to really enjoy the lake. We loved making s'mores by the bonfire on the lake, too. It is very peaceful and serene. Blue Ridge was very responsive with the majority of our questions although they weren't able to resolve the temperature issue with the hot tub that we reported on the first day. Also, don't forget anything from the food store on your way to the Lodge as it quite a haul to get to the nearest supermarket or restaurant! Overall, this was a great place and plenty of space for all to unwind.

We absolutely loved this home! Everything was just as described (actually better). Dave has included so many little things that make this house special. Although interstate is easily accessible, we felt like we were far away, as the location is private and serene. We loved spending time in the living room looking out the gigantic window. We will be back!

It was a wonderful place to stay and we had a blast while we were there. Wish it could've lasted longer.

I've fished the upper New River for more than 20 years. Michael's house is right across the river from the boat landing . . . and he has his own boat landing. We were looking forward to staying at his place but Hurricane Helene came through and flooded everything. Michael volunteered to give us a full refund because of the weather and river conditions. We really appreciated his offer and took him up on it. I had the money back on my credit card in a very short amount of time. I give him an A+ as a host!

Great little place to stay with a view of the river. Very quiet! Will look to book again when we return to the area!
