Mariners Cabin: Your seaside escape

Mariners Cabin is a modern and minimalist retreat situated in picturesque Cass Bay, perfect for solo travellers or couples looking for a serene escape. This cabin (13 square meters in size) is suspended in the trees, offers the best proximity to beach views, an outdoor bath, barbecue, and a romantic outdoor dining area. It also features an authentic wood burner, ensuring warmth and coziness during chilly nights, while the comfortable double bed provides a restful night's sleep.

Te Ara Cottage Tranquil Retreat

Beautiful cottage with fantastic view. The cottage has a queen bed, a sitting room, shower, bath and toilet with own deck. Not self-contained but has a kettle, toaster, microwave and small fridge, a gas cooker and bbq set. Tea/Plunger coffee are provided. There is a walking track below the cottage and also more walks around here. We are located in Diamond Harbour, 20min walk to jetty that you can catch a ferry to Lyttelton, only 10min ride, beautiful journey.

Cosy Tiny in Cass Bay

We welcome you to relax and enjoy some time away in our cosy Tiny house! Located in Cass Bay, with a full ensuite, queen bed, and full kitchen with outdoor deck and close access to a variety of coastal walking tracks. An 8 minute drive to Lyttelton provides a range of eclectic cafes, restaurants and bars and a well-stocked supermarket and pharmacy, and a Farmers Market every Saturday our Tiny provides an alternative to the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Banks Peninsula Cottage-Paradise near Christchurch

Banks Peninsula cottage, Peaceful, private and self contained nestled in the beautiful Kaituna Valley near Christchurch on Banks Peninsula. Enjoy birdsong, the sound of the stream and stunning views. Visit Akaroa, hike the Pack horse track, fossick for stones at Birdlings Flat, bike the rail trail or just relax. Heatpump, free fast unlimited WiFi. Decorated with a retro vibe. Only 45 minutes from Christchurch airport but you are in another world.

Our Lyttel Whare (house) is a brand new, architecturally designed tiny home, thoughtfully located and decorated to maximise stunning harbour and hill views and to reflect our funky Lyttelton vibe. With access to a range of local walks, markets, eateries and activities, a break away will leave you feeling enriched and indulged with great memories to take with you. We aim to provide as much information and comfort as you need to have a great experience.

Pocket of Paradise

This is a great place to relax and admire the views into Purau Bay and out to Lyttelton Heads. The cottage is hidden in the bush and very private (not a roof in sight) with spectacular views. Tranquility and peace are keywords here. Wake up to the song of the bell bird and the sun streaming in. It's a 5 minute walk to a cafe and restaurant and a 10 minute walk to the ferry to Lyttelton from which you can access Christchurch by bus.

Orchard Cottage, Diamond Harbour

Orchard Cottage (c1910) is a private, sunny, self -contained guest house in its own colourful garden and a shared orchard which guests are welcome to enjoy. It is close to Diamond Harbour's town centre amenities, and just 10 minutes walk from the Lyttelton ferry. There is good swimming at the nearby beach which is a few minutes down a bush track from the cottage and lots of lovely clifftop walks and other beaches nearby.

'Kanuka cottage'

With an outlook of native Kanuka and large pines this 3 bedroom home in Purau Valley is perfect for a relaxing holiday, boating, fishing or exploring the area Only 45 min from Christchurch city, on the stunning Banks Peninsula and just 1.5 hours to the popular town of Akaroa. A 5min drive to the ferry to take you to lyttelton for great restaurants or the saturday farmers market. or just hang out with the resident goats.
