Outside area includes a covered deck as well as an open deck. Charcoal grill available for outdoor cooking. Large fire pit for relaxing by the fire! The Firefly is located in heart of Dawson, Texas only a short drive to beautiful natural landscapes of country fields, small businesses, and five minute drive to the Navarro Mills Lake. You will enjoy the rural charm of a small town off the main road that will take you straight into Waco if you go West 40 minutes or Corsicana if you go East 30 minutes. The Firefly is 1.15 hours away from Dallas, Texas. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation spot, we welcome you to the Firefly.

Say hello to our cows & donkey, roast marshmallows over a fire, cast a line in one of our ponds, or take a peaceful walk down to the big lake. It is the perfect destination for a weekend getaway or rest from your visit to Waco & the Silo District (25 min), Baylor University (20 min), or Waco Surf (10 min).

Cute cabin located on a working farm. Enjoy the horses and cows grazing right outside. Comfortable 2 bedrooms with a sleeping loft for the kids (horizontal only for adults). Hosts live on the same property so we will usually be available if you need anything during your stay. We prefer a low-distraction lifestyle, but a TV is available on request. Limited outdoor space available.
