What a great place to stay! Everything I needed, beautifully and thoughtfully set up, a block from downtown, and an pleasant walk (or drive) to the Chester River right through the historical section of town, especially in the morning or early evening when everything is peaceful. Many thoughtful touches upon arrival - right down to biscuits for the dog - and helpful things like a basket of travel sized toiletries in case I'd left something behind. The hosts were easily available if needed but explanations were clear and everything intuitively set up, so I didn't need a thing. Thanks, Beth and Bob!

As others have said, beautiful and spacious house with stunning views on the water! The house was clean, kitchen filled with all the tools for cooking (even things like wax paper, aluminum foil, all the spices you could think of, etc.), and we loved the ping pong table in the garage. The grounds were super peaceful and fun to walk around. We came in November so the pool was covered, but it was great to go out on the dock and kayak on the water. Not sure if it was the cold or not, but on some of the doors, the deadbolt was a little sticky and difficult to turn, so we just avoided these doors throughout our stay. We would love to come back in the summer time/when the weather is warmer to enjoy the pool! Also very much appreciated that we could bring our dog.

(WORLD CLASS) This home was spotless inside and out and had a wonderful backyard and a beautiful screen porch. Along with that, it had a hot tub that was spotless. This home had everything that you would need to cook with. The owner went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Hands down was one of the nicest homes we ever stayed in.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kelly's place. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed, was close enough to venture out to some nearby places but was nice enough to be happy to stay in and relax, as well. Nice touches like coloring books, crayons, and pencils for kids and the outside area for sunsets and viewing from most angles of the house was lovely! We would love to come back and stay again.

It was very good excellent value for the money, had everything and more needed for a comfortable stay, tastefully decorated high end stuff comfortable bed, and grab bars in the shower!

Schönste Unterkunft in der ich je war! So ein schöner Ort mitten in der Natur mit direkten Zugang zum Fluss und die Möglichkeit zum Kajak fahren. Auch die Nachbarn sind sehr freundlich! Die Ausstattung war top, es gab sogar selbstgemachte Cookies und Equipment für ein Lagerfeuer.

What a beautiful location! If you are looking for bayfront, look no further. The screened in porch area is great too for enjoying being outdoors in the evening or in bad weather. The house felt both roomy and cozy (we had 8 and never felt cramped at all) with plenty of amenities for a getaway. We also really enjoyed the dock for fishing and just enjoying the bay weather. The area is nice too and there are plenty of restaurants within driving distance. Rick and Michelle were very helpful and communicated very well leading up to and during the stay. A great place to stay and highly recommend!

Loved the cabin! Especially enjoyed the hot tub and board games and super comfortable beds! Woke up every morning to the sounds of the birds. Perfectly clean, quiet and peaceful (we did think it would be set back further from the street, but there’s almost no traffic so the road noise was minimal). The wood-fired hot water and heat give a nice rustic touch, plenty of wood is included and it only needs to be stoked twice a day. Laundry soap is provided, which was a nice bonus, as are the kitchen staples (peanut butter, flour, spices, popcorn, etc). Melody is a great communicator, answering all questions promptly, and everything was as described in the listing. Everything is labeled and the instructions and house rules are clear and easy to understand. As someone who travels frequently, this property is well above average, particularly in this region. Will happily stay here again next time we’re in the area!
