Be immersed in the peace and quiet of a Tuscan olive orchard by staying in this stone farmhouse which features traditional architectural elements such as terra cotta floors, vaulted ceilings, and original wood fixtures. Dive into the plunge pool with sweeping views of the Mediterranean Sea. For adventurous travelers who will appreciate the 10-minute panoramic walk to the house (we will transport your luggage and groceries by tractor). The magical view of the world below with the coast on the horizon which can be enjoyed from every room of the house and from the entire olive orchard with its walking paths and plunge pool with waterfall. Being a pedestrian village, Metato is quiet and peaceful. Yet, the beach and many great places to visit are a short drive away- Pisa, Florence, Lucca, the marble quarries of Cararra, Pietrasanta, Viareggio.... Guests have exclusive access to the pool and property. Metato is a friendly litttle village in the hills overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. There is a quaint family-run restaurant in the village that serves local homemade dishes at a very reasonable price. Our pedestrian village tends to attract kind people in search of peace and quiet and a proximity with nature. Time seems to go by more slowly here. It is a perfect base for families who want to explore Tuscany and the beaches of the Versilia coast. The home is in a beautiful, quiet location on a hill surrounded by olive orchards and vineyards just a 10-minute walk from the parking lot. Explore the medieval village of Metato where fireflies and breathtaking views await. Take an invigorating hike or head to the beaches a short drive away. There is a parking lot at the base of the village where you can park the car. The village itself is pedestrian but I am happy to greet guests at the parking lot on their arrival to transport their luggage, groceries and whoever wants to ride to the house with my little Italian tractor! The nearest airport is Pisa (45-minutes by car). All the major car rental places can be found there. The nearest train station is Viareggio.

Villino Dina

Casa contadina con muratura prevalentemente in pietra. Internamente si presenta intonacata ed imbiancata. Le pavimentazioni di cucina, ingresso e camera sono in mattonelle di graniglia. Tutti gli arredi sono stati rinnovati. La cucina è nuova con lavastoviglie. E' presente un stufa a pellet e un TV con TivuSat. Nel bagno è disponibile la lavatrice. E' possibile chiedere l'uso dell'asciugatrice (non presente nell'appartamento). Il riscaldamento è autonomo. Sono compresi i consumi delle utenze.

Agriturismo le Vallilunghe, l'appartamento

L'appartamento "le Vallilunghe" si trova all'interno dell'omonimo agriturismo , ricavato sulle colline che dividono Lucca da Viareggio, più precisamente nel comune di Chiatri. Nonostante sia un'oasi di pace lontano dal trambusto cittadino (la struttura è infatti interamente circondata da boschi), dall'agriturismo si possono raggiungere in circa 20 minuti in macchina: Lucca e le sue bellezze architettoniche, Pisa e la sua torre pendente e Viareggio ed il mare della Versilia!

Chiesino Dei Vaioni

Antica chiesa sconsacrata risalente ai primi del 900, originariamente costruita come cappella privata di Villa Philipson. Chiesino Dei Vaioni ha una struttura a loft con due camere matrimoniali su due soppalchi distinti. All’esterno cucina con forno a legna, giardini privato con viale alberato ed oliveto. I cancelli e le scale interne furono costruiti dalla Antica Fonderia Michelucci. Chiesino Dei Vaioni è immerso nella campagna toscana a pochi minuti dalla città.

Charming rustic located on top of a private hill, complete remodeled in 2023 with private infinity pool surrounded by nature. The farmhouse has comfortable outdoor spaces where you can eat and relax in front of a breathtaking view. The whole house is equipped with air conditioning and each bedroom has a private bathroom. We charge an additional cost of 30€ per day for utilities to be paid at check in.
