Charming tiny house in a peaceful, secluded location between Hella and Hvolsvöllur, just 8 min from highway No. 1. Perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The large panoramic front window lets you enjoy nature right from the bed: stunning sunrises, Northern Lights and views of the river, mountains and volcano Hekla. The house has a modern and well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable bathroom. !!Starting mid-June, a brand-new Jacuzzi with massage function and lighting will offer even more comfort!!

Cozy cottage with a view

Take it easy at this unique, tranquil and romantic getaway. A small and cozy private cottage (23 fm3) located about 4 km away from the town Hella down by the river Hróarslækur. There is a sleeping sofa and also a floor mattress (140 cm) in the open garret attic. There is a kitchenette with basic kitchen utilities, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, induction plate and a small oven. Everything is private, nature all around and space for exploring and hiking. You have the cabin to yourselves.

A unique two bedroom house with great views

A unique and peaceful stay at a private house located next to the black sand beach with great views over Vestmannaeyjar and Eyjafjallajölkull volcano. The house has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, open living and dining room area. Outdoor terrace, private entrance and free parking. Fjósið-Hallgeirsey is the perfect place to stay to explore the south coast, located 23 km from Hvolsvöllur (restaurants and grocery store) and only 10 min drive from the main road (15km).

The Black Barn

Guests have access to the entire apartment. You need a car, there are no public transport to our place. There is a key box located on the post on the patio wall. There are extra blankets in the drawers located in the sleep loft. If we can help in any way, like giving some advice and recommendations regarding the stay in Iceland you are welcome to ask us. Gamla pósthúsið er mjög falleg íbúð sem við innréttuðum 2023 með fallegu útsýni yfir Ytri Rangá. Hella is very well located in the south. It is a short drive to many beautiful places. It’s really fun to stay in Hella for a few days and take a day trip to all the main places in the south. It is no problem to see the northern lights on Hella and if you drive 5-10 minutes you get out of all the street lights and manage to enjoy them even more.

Brand new comfortable and well-designed cabins. The sheltered hot outdoor shower, accessible from the bathroom, is a delightful experience in all weathers. They are both very private though it is just a stone’s throw away from the Ring Road. Excellent base for exploring the wonders of the South, for instance Gullfoss & Geysir, The Westmann Islands, the beautiful waterfalls along the south coast and The black beach in Vik.

The location is perfect for everyone that wants a peaceful stay with beautiful views of the famous mountain Hekla, Eyjafjallajökull and close to all the beautiful places that South Iceland has to offer. At Hella you will find gas station, grocery, pharmacy, bakery and a swimming pool.
