We had a great time at this lovely secluded home. The living area was really spacious and the kitchen was amazing and well equipped for cooking and serving a diverse range of meals - an entertainers delight. We will certainly look to rebooking in the future. Dawn even found a little bunny that one of the girls left behind and kindly got it safely home.

This house was perfect for our family group of 9 adults. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking large meals, and it was great having two full bathrooms. The fire and some heaters kept us warm at night.

myself and grandchildren loved Cecile's place..homely and has everything our lil family needed even the extras of brekky stuff, spreads, bread, milk ..truly appreciated when showing up with X4 young children ..We had a dip in pool abit cool at this time of year but refreshing ..

“A Perfect Stay with Stunning Views!” I had an amazing stay at this AirBnB! The location was perfect—peaceful, yet close to everything I needed. One of the highlights was the beautiful walk nearby, which offered breathtaking views that made every morning feel magical. Whether enjoying a cup of coffee outside or taking in the scenery during a stroll, the surroundings were absolutely stunning. The home itself was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, making my stay truly enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and scenic getaway!

The house was well-kept and cozy; it had everything we needed to have a great stay. The fire kept the place perfectly warm, and the extra heaters were great inside the rooms. With fresh and comfy bedding and hot water running on gas, there were no worries about everyone getting in a warm shower. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials: even spices, which meant we could make some great mulled wine. All of the rooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy, with towels, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Perfectly located on a quiet street, just a short walk away from the local restaurants and Four Square. The ideal location for doing any of the wonderful hikes in the Tongariro National Park. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay, and would happily come back again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jodie’s place for a special family reunion. It fit all 11 of us easily and didn’t feel cramped. It was tidy and clean, and when we accidentally locked ourselves out at one point we were able to call and get back in within minutes! We all talked about coming back one day, as we enjoyed the space so much. Thanks Jodie.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb on the ranch! The peaceful surroundings and beautiful natural scenery made it a perfect getaway. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The host was welcoming and attentive, ensuring our stay was enjoyable. I especially loved waking up to the sounds of nature and having the chance to explore the ranch. The rooms were huge and great for a big family or groups. Highly recommend this unique experience for anyone looking for a tranquil retreat!

Great home for families with good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. The living space was very comfortable, and the addition of a range of family boardgames was great. The home is set in a quiet tranquil area overlooking forest/bush which provided lovely walks. Easy 10mins walk to Carrotland which is an an awesome adventure playground and activity area with pump track, bike tracks, playground etc. Our 7yr old loved it. We had some issues with running water when we arrived but Charlotte was super responsive and helpful and it was all resolved within an hour...and Charlotte provided a wee gift basket (nibbles and wine) in acknowledgement of our being slightly put out. Charlotte was very thoughtful and responsive in managing the whole issue. We will absolutely stay again. It was a lovely comfortable home.

Our group of 6 + 1 furry friend loved our stay here! Great location for walking / running local trails and cruising to the pub or out for coffee. A 3 min drive to the supermarket. Felt like a safe area to be in and was super quiet and peaceful! We’d definitely stay again - thank you!!

What a beautiful place! Had everything we needed for our family of four. Set up with gorgeous pre-loved furniture (in immaculate condition!) and very peaceful. I messaged Carol to say we would be arriving late, and she unlocked the door and got the place ready for us in advance, so very thoughtful. We met Carol and her family outside the next day and they even let our kids sit in their digger and try out the pedal car in the garage. They went above and beyond to make it a lovely stay for us. Highly recommended and would absolutely stay again.

Such a beautiful home for our family of 5. This house had absolutely everything we needed so we decided to stay home and enjoy it. we will totally be back 😊

Wonderful wee railway cottage. Kids cracked up/crapped their pants when the trains roared past in the night but it became part of their norm in no time. Great wee cottage with everything we needed and close to town. Perfect for going up the mountain and super helpful host! Thank you.

This place is even better in person! So many toys for the kids and heaps of space to spread out! We will defo be back.

Second time staying here and was as good as we remembered. Love the fireplace! Great spot as about 45 minutes from the snow.

Really enjoyed being able to walk around and explore this cute little town. The house was perfect for our family of 4 and dog. The kids loved the loft space and all the games.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and well-equipped property. The house was spotless, cozy, and perfectly located—close to town yet peaceful with stunning views. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the outdoor area was great for relaxing. One highlight was the spa pool—a great addition to the property. However, the water felt a bit over-chlorinated, which meant we couldn’t stay in for more than 10 minutes at a time. That’s just a small detail in an otherwise perfect stay, and I’m sure it’s something that can be easily adjusted. Overall, we highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ohakune. It’s a wonderful spot, and we would happily return in the future!

Second time at the cottage. Is becoming our go-to in Ohakune. Very comfortable stay. Great location. Great hot tub.

Beautiful place, this is a perfect getaway. Johnny’s place is beautiful, peaceful and very well kept. Kids enjoyed the horses around and enjoyed the greenery and free area to run around. We brought their little bikes with us and they loved biking on the grass. Johnny was super responsive and helpful.

Comfortable and cosy. Lovely spa pool and fire with firewood and kindling ready to go. Only complaint was the dim lighting in the living area which made reading and board games hard to see. Other than that, we loved it and would recommend to others.

The lodge was everything we needed for a boys weekend away. Will be planning to go back in the future

Easy check in and had everything we needed! Stayed here after the Whanganui journey and the night before/after walking the Tongariro Crossing, really appreciated the washing machine, spa, and drying room! Great value place and close to lots of nice restaurants and bars in Ohakune

We had a great few days staying at Michael’s. Situated in a good location in between the main town and station end. Easy access to riding and running tracks. The cottage was cosy and relaxing on a cooler autumn evening and had everything you needed to feel at home. We enjoyed the spa bath which had great night sky viewing on a clear evening.
