Hungry Mother Island is a unique three bedroom cabin on its own island surrounded by Hungry Mother Creek at Hungry Mother State Park in Marion, VA. Located off the Back of the Dragon Trail & bordered by Hungry Mother State Park along with George Washington & Jefferson National Forest. Nearby multiple wilderness areas, superb mountain stream fishing, small lake fishing, swimming area & beach, wildlife management areas & miles of trails offer tons of natural amenities and outdoor opportunities.

Step back in time with this original 1890s Appalachian solar powered off grid cabin. The cabin has been renovated with all the modern conveniences: solar-powered and includes hot water, gas stove, full bathroom w/ shower, refrigerator, sleeper sofa folds out to queen size bed. With each stay fresh towels and linens are furnished. Kitchen, hot/cold kitchen sink, K cup friendly coffee machine and more! Covered front porch with bench and 2 rockers. Off the porch is a picnic table and gas grill.

Cozy space for a getaway!. Located a block off Main Street and walking distance of Historic Downtown Abingdon. We strive to make your stay special. The apartment has upgraded wifi, work space for your tablet, or device. Roku tv, full-size kitchen, and private bedroom with queen bed . Sofa bed suitable for two children, or, one adult. The backyard patio includes a play house for children with swings, slide, and zip line. Creeper Trail access from stay via the Abingdon Urban Pathway.

The newly-renovated cabin offers the tranquility of the forest and proximity to some of the countries most awe-inspiring and well-preserved forestland.

Enjoy a quiet country setting just 10 minutes from downtown Abingdon and the Virginia Creeper Trail, 20 minutes to the Appalachian Trail, 30 minutes to downtown Bristol. Enjoy pastoral views while you relax on the back deck, which runs the length of the house. The unit includes the entire main floor of the home with bedroom, bath, living room, full kitchen and laundry room. If you love the outdoors this is a great base for exploring this beautiful corner of the world.

Whether visiting the beautiful mountains to bike or hike the Creeper Trail, sightseeing in the historical Abingdon or Bristol area, attending a game at E&H or just passing through to another destination, our goal is to provide a warm and welcoming home for your getaway. Resting on an acre of land and right off I 81 enjoy your stay in our cozy, country cottage.

A Bit of Heaven: Calvary Suite- Warrior Trail

Take a step back in time. Rural America. Before fast food chains, and even before Walmart... Surrounded by mountains and located right around the corner from the Hatfield McCoy Warrior Trailhead office. Enjoy High Rocks, Wilmore Dam or perhaps a day at Berwind Lake trout fishing, hiking or boating. Easy access to restaurants, gas station, and grocery store. We are an ATV friendly town and House is located in quiet friendly neighborhood with plenty of parking.

Chicken Coop Cabin

New Wood Cabin located off hwy 58 , 8 min from Abingdon Va , 8 min from Damascus Va . It is one mile to Abingdon Vineyard , and 1.2 miles to the Alvarado Station on the Virginia Creeper Trail , and 10 mins to the Barter theater . Enjoy the Blueridge Mountains where you can hike bike and fish . And unwind to great view from covered porch . There are 7 step to enter with plenty of free parking. We are dog friendly limit 2 bowls and bed provided .

Old Rich Valley Cabin

You will relax and reconnect in this beautiful valley nestled in the Southwest Virginia mountains. Sit on the porch and soak up those mountain views. Relax in the hot tub and count the stars. Reconnect with your spouse as you unplug from the hustle and bustle. Rest, laugh, enjoy! The cabin is located on a working family farm. You can purchase beef, pork, and chicken to cook while you’re here or bring a cooler and take some home.

Journey Cabin @ Clinch River Farms

Overlooking the Clinch River is our special cabin on the farm. It is so peaceful that we have named it Journey. This facility is TOTALLY OFF THE GRID since it is located between the Clinch River and the N&W Railroad with no access to public utilities although you may use all of the amenities in the Cabin!
