This is a great place to stay for a family! We had a party of 8 and this worked perfectly for us. T Clean, no bugs like someone previously mentioned, very tidy and the lush greenery is gorgeous. The washer and dryer worked and were so helpful and convenient for our 5 day trip. Mahalo again, highly recommend!!

Really great to stay at Joy and Brandon’s Jungle House on the Big Island. Lots of space and bedrooms for a big family gathering and lots to do in the area around Hilo, the volcano park and the black sand beach. We had a great Christmas adventure there and were even able to cook up a turkey and ham with all the fixings with the amenities provided! We had a few issues with supplies and laundry but Joy and Brandon took care of everything quickly and had good advice about what to do right away. I would definitely go back and grateful for the great time my family had together and Joy and Brandon’s hospitality.

If you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay, it’s here at Kapoho’s Paradise! - totally off-grid and hidden away! Great layout with 3 bedroom en suites downstairs with sliding doors to the outside/pool area. The living, dining, kitchen, half bath and large lanai overlooking the pool and beautiful landscaped yard complete the upstairs. Very spacious and comfortable!! Wayne’s a great host. Very responsive and helpful when needed. Thanks Wayne for sharing Kapoho’s Paradise with us!

Diane's cabin was a very peaceful place to stay. She was very responsive and flexible. Diane was even kind enough to assist me in coordinating to receive time-sensitive mail while staying at her cabin. The place was clean and organized. You can tell that much thought was put into the layout and where things were placed/organized around the cabin. I would definitely stay at Diane's cabin again.

Such an amazing place! Beautiful ocean view and surrounded by a lush farm full of diverse fruit trees. The house was very clean and well maintained! We loved our stay!

Dennis was super nice and super communicative. His place is easily walkable to downtown. It's a great space, nice beds, clean bathroom, kitchen had everything we needed. Windows all had screens so we stayed cool with the great ocean breeze! The only downside is there are roosters in the neighborhood that make a lot of noise early in the morning, which woke us up. But this would also be true of any other place nearby, so I'd still recommend Dennis's place as a great spot in Hilo!

James and Mila were excellent hosts. They made it super simple to check in and out! Their communication was top notch. I really appreciated all of the things that they provided in their Airbnb that we could use during our stay. The location of their Airbnb was perfect for all the things we wanted to do. We look forward to staying there again the next time we are in Hilo. Mahalo nui loa and a hui hou James and Mila!🤙🏽
