In a secluded rural setting, our home and garden is within reach of Loch Lomond, the Trossachs, West Coast, Glasgow, Stirling, Edinburgh. Cosy pubs and restaurants, wonderful walking, castles, whisky distilleries, quaint villages... Come back to a real log fire and enjoy the big traditional farmhouse kitchen. Well behaved dogs welcome too!

Sunnyside Lodge is the perfect place for getting away from it all, but with an abundance of activities on your doorstep! Situated in a quiet nook just outside the ancient market town of Lanark (a Royal Burgh since 1140) you benefit from the lovely restaurants and shops on Lanark High Street and the UNESCO World Heritage site of New Lanark just 2 miles away. For a city experience Edinburgh and Glasgow are less than an hour away with excellent transport links. Who says you can't have it all?!

Loch Lomond is a 15 minute drive and easily accessed by train (train station is 2 minutes from our Cottage) with direct routes to Glasgow (20 minutes). Located 10 minutes taxi drive from Glasgow airport. National Cycle path close by and mountain biking tracks on the Old Kilpatrick Hills near by.

The Cottage is perfect for a romantic peaceful getaway with stunning surroundings and views also ideal location for walkers with local hills to climb on the doorstep. Luss village is just a short 5 minute walk with renowned places to eat and drink, the unique island of Inchmurrin is just a quick boat trip away. Property has 1 super king size bed, open plan fully kitted kitchen/ living room, smart tv, log burner, Wifi, underfloor heating, shower, bath, washing machine, linen, towels.

Altquhur Cottage

Altquhur Cottage is in a beautiful location with stunning views over the Campsie Fells, 10 minutes by car to the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond. The cottage is set on a farm with horses, cows and sheep in the surrounding fields and hens roaming around outside the garden. The cottage has a spacious dining kitchen, cosy living room with wood burning stove and comfortable sofa bed, double bedroom, bathroom and utility room. There is a fully enclosed garden with outdoor furniture.

LynnAllan Cottage is a gorgeous rural getaway with stunning open views. Comprising a comfortable living room with a working open fireplace and sofa bed for extra guests, a modern fitted kitchen with all mod cons including a breakfast bar, two bedrooms 1 double & 1 king-size, with good storage space. A contemporary bathroom with a shower over the bath. The cottage is fully equipped for up to 6 people and offers a homely, stylish space for your enjoyment and relaxation.

Tin Lid Cottage - cosy ground floor flat

There's 200 years of history in our cosy little cottage. Part of the original village cross and formerly ‘Bab’s Shop’, it is now a one bedroom haven. There's wonderful walks from the doorstep and it's a great base to explore the cities and sights of central Scotland. Our quiet & lovely village pub, The Swan is open Friday- Monday. It was the first community owned pub in Scotland and has recently had a major refurbishment. Be sure to book ahead, it’s popular!

Fa'side Cottage is a detached house on the grounds of Fa'side House on the outskirts of Glasgow, Scotland. Located to the south of Glasgow the house is within walking distance to amenities in Newton Mearns. With 12 acres of beautiful gardens and surrounding land to enjoy, the cottage is secluded with views of the Campsies and much of Glasgow. Glasgow city centre is 15 minutes by car. The cottage is also handily located for those seeking to explore Ayrshire.

Port Cottage 5 minutes from Glasgow Airport

Private cottage in rural setting. Bright and comfortable cottage close to Glasgow Airport. One double bedroom, bathroom with electric shower, fully equipped kitchen, separate living room with sofa bed. Wifi. Private parking. Close to motorway access to Glasgow (20 minutes). 15 mins to Royal Alexandra Hospital, 15 minutes to Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Braehead shopping Centre and arena. Erskine (10 mins away) has a Morrisons, Aldi, butcher etc.

Dunlop is only 1/2 hour drive to some of Ayrshires top golf courses. The train takes less than 30 mins to Glasgow city centre. The village has a community pub, a community cafe(open Thursdays and Fridays for morning coffee and lunch. A newsagent, post office/ shop and an Artisan Bakery ( openThursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.) A new craft shop has also recently opened next door to our home. The nearest supermarket is 10 mins. drive away.

This traditional 18th-century detached gatehouse is tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard. It offers an ideal holiday base to relax or explore the surrounding area. Situated close to the city of Glasgow, Peel Lodge is only 20 mins by train from the city centre, 30 miles away is Loch Lomond, The Trossachs and Ayrshire. Edinburgh and Stirling can be reached in an hour. Shop, pub/restaurant 1 mile.
