There are numerous places to hike nearby. Views of mountains (including Pedernal) in all directions are stunning. Nearby attractions include Plaza Blanca, Georgia O'Keefe Welcome Center and Ghost Ranch. Easy drive to Taos and Santa Fe. A truly lovely place to rest, relax and take in all the nearby sites and activities.

Bathroom is downstairs. Full kitchen with all cookware and place setting. No pets. No indoor smoking.

Located in the world-famous Greater World Earthship Community, this modern off-grid home is one of a kind! Built by hand over 8 years by me, your host, Kirsten. This sustainable house is bright, light, and airy with clean lines and unique details. Like all Earthships this house is built from natural and repurposed materials such as used automobile tires, cardboard, old cans and bottles. All electricity for the house is from solar. We are located 55mins from Santa Fe, and 5hrs from Denver. Abiquiu is a destination frequented by artists, writers, spirit seekers, and nature lovers from around the world.
