River Dee : séjours à la ferme

Had a really love couple of nights with a group of friends over New Years Eve. Margaret was really helpful, she met us when we arrived and showed us around the house so we knew where everything was. The place is huge so that was really helpful. It looks just like the photos and is in a really lovely place, we could see horses out of our window and at night the stars were really bright. It was a perfect countryside escape and really well suited to a big group of people.

Great place to stay, absolutely loved it. The attention to detail is amazing, very well kitted out kitchen. Will most definitely be back.

Well what can I say, the week here has been the most peaceful get away. Sue greeted us when we arrived and made sure everything was perfect for our stay, even offering to bake us a cake (we had 2) . The house was perfect for our holiday, big dining table with amazing views and the weather was perfect to make use of the large area outside. We went for walks around their land, met the sheep, ducks and goats. Good recommendations for local pubs etc and it has been the perfect, peaceful getaway for all of us. Can HIGHLY recommend and I hope to be back again in the future.

Our stay at the Cottage was absolutely wonderful. The place was cozy, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable time. Helen and her husband were a fantastic host—very welcoming and kind. The thoughtful touches throughout the Cottage made the stay feel extra special. We rented the farmhouse and the barn for a family birthday. Everyone enjoyed themselves . The bedrooms were all great and suited all the families. The kids and young adults loved the hot tubs.

Robin and Lois have the most gorgeous place, a proper little home away from home. Had everything we could need and stunning views - we loved watching the sheep in particular. The what3words address took us right to where we were staying and hosts were lovely, helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay again!

Lovely weekend stay. Spacious property with plenty of bathrooms. Beds in twin rooms perhaps more suitable for child guests oppose to adults. Responsive and friendly host.

We have just returned fiona and Richards place in north wales and it was absolutely unique . I’m quite fussy but their barn conversion was beautiful , interesting , amazing decor and really so clean and stylish and welcoming - wow what a place ! We met Richard and Fiona and i was indulgent and had an hrs crystal therapy .. very special .. Fiona definitely has the magic . We white water rafted at the national centre 15 mins away .. such fun ! Unmissable ! And we dined at a local pub ten mins away … which was heaven . Would defo book this again as the accommodation was so well equipped and location was great .. peaceful and very grounding … chickens ducks . Sheep and of course beautiful Ted the dog ! It was a ten out of ten from us . Ellen and Dave

Perfect little gîte for a very comfortable overnight stay with everything you could want in a compact space with many little extra touches too. Adele was very welcoming and the location in the centre was perfect for us. Highly recommended.

Amy’s cottage was peaceful with beautiful surroundings. Each night we sat out on the patio and watched the sunset. Amy provided complimentary crisps and flapjacks which was a lovely touch. The place was spotless throughout and felt very homely. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place the everyone.

We had a great few days in this comfortable, clean and well equipped property. Deborah Elise greeted us warmly and made us feel at home immediately, showing us around and recommending walks and places to eat. The surrounding countryside is spectacular and free of mass tourism. Previously, I had driven through the area heading for other parts of Wales, now this will be the destination. Thank you for a wonderful few days. We had a wonderful stay at this absolutely beautiful property. It had all the amenities we needed, including a travel cot, which was perfect for our four-week-old baby. The home is beautifully decorated and has a lovely, peaceful garden. Fiona was warm, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

Jane’s flat proved to be an utterly delightful sanctuary, ideal for a tranquil escape. The location was simply idyllic, affording sweeping, panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. It was finished to an exceptionally high standard, boasting everything from state-of-the-art ventilation to luxurious underfloor heating, and maintained with impeccable cleanliness throughout. Jane’s generosity was particularly noteworthy; she had thoughtfully stocked the fridge with a selection of complimentary treats, which was most appreciated. Although Jane and her family reside adjacent to the flat, my privacy was entirely respected, and they were unfailingly discreet. At the same time, Jane was wonderfully helpful in recommending charming local attractions, which greatly enhanced my stay.A particular highlight was Jane’s enchanting garden. It was a veritable haven, brimming with vibrant flowers alongside with melodious birds song. All in all it was just a perfection! Thank you, Jane!

We had the most amazing stay here for my birthday. The surroundings were so peaceful and seeing a sky full of stars was amazing after living in a city. The amenities of the place were amazing and the logs included was a massive pro - in other airbandbs we’ve had to take our own. The instructions were easy to follow and I would recommend everyone to stay in the barn owl :)

Very friendly hosts. Super helpful recommendations and guidance on the local area. We had an action packed short stay (2 families of 4) with local riding to suit all abilities, Zip world not far away (which the children loved) and a gorgeous beach. The table football was a firm favourite for the evenings, and the bike track on site was also a bit hit. Secure bike store was very useful and the drying room came in handy after our rainy bike ride. We would all recommend to others.

Hilary and Greg were incredibly friendly and helpful. The property was spotless, spacious, and beautifully furnished. We’ll definitely return and highly recommend it to others.

Myself, my partner and our 8 month old daughter had such a lovely week stay at Gorse Barn, it was every bit comfortable and cosy, had everything we needed. the surrounding location was very peaceful, the welcome basket was such a lovely touch, we loved musing through the books and DVDs and even watched one, there's a beautiful view point just over the fields for sunsets and sunrises...we absolutely recommend staying here, we had the opportunity to look at the other two properties and found all of them equally as stunning, we definitely plan on visiting again in the future. Toby and his wife were magnificent hosts, the place was perfect, clean, amazing views. Topped off with fresh eggs and loaf of bread which was lovely. We made use of the Home Cinema and Sauna which was fantastic, especially after a walk in the public gardens. There was lots to do in surrounding towns and overall had a fantastic 2 nights away. Would highly recommend
