Stayed here for 2 nights for the bank holiday weekend. The area was beautiful, the Lodge itself was modern and very clean. It made for a perfect get away with the private Hot Tub and cosy fireplace over looking the scenic view. Lodge was very private and secure. They provided firewood and blankets for the nights we were there and hosted a small shop for immediate conveniences such as drinks and snacks. Their information booklet had detailed lists of local shops, restaurants and nearby walks which was amazing, it saved us a lot of effort in a new area trying to find things to explore. We didn't get chance to check out the farm they had with several animals but were lucky enough to have the farm house cats come visit us each morning which we loved!

We just wanted to rest and relax away with the dog, and this place was perfect. Was quiet, easy to find but tucked away (close enough to the town and amenities). The hot tub was toasty and I feel so calm and relaxed (even though the weather sucked). Great find and highly recommend. Great little get away! 10/10 recommend and would 100% go back.

Our weekend break didn’t go to plan but the short time I did get to spend at the hut was so peaceful, it was clean, the hot tub was great all in all was a lovely place to stay, I do hope to book again in the near future and get to experience it thoroughly in all its glory.

We had a wonderful stay at this glamping site nestled between Llandudno and Betws-y-Coed—such a peaceful and scenic spot, perfect for a relaxing break in North Wales. Rachel, the host, was incredibly kind and accommodating, especially as we arrived later than expected after a long journey. She kindly allowed us to check in late, and to our delight, the wood-fired hot tub at our Shepherd’s Hut was already heated and ready for us—just what we needed to unwind. The Shepherd’s Hut itself was lovely—cozy, clean, and full of charm, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The surrounding countryside was beautiful, and we loved waking up to the views and birdsong. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful escape with thoughtful touches and a warm welcome. Thank you, Rachel—we’ll definitely be back!

Jackie and Howard were so lovely and friendly when we arrived and really made us feel welcome, the hut was so lovely and cosy and clean, definitely worth what we paid for and will be staying again :)

My husband and I arranged a last minute getaway to Charlotte’s place and what a find it was. The descriptions fully matched the listing - the only thing she didn’t state was how beautiful and idyllic it is - a very rare find! Charlotte and Mito were so welcoming, and it was lovely to meet Simon and Willow, their two black labradors. All we can say is, if you’re unsure whether to book - don’t be - you will not be disappointed. We definitely aim to return! Thank you Charlotte x

This stay was perfect for our long weekend with our 1 year old and 2 dogs. We were after a relaxing spot and this ticked all the boxes for us. Private, quiet and you can see the lambs from the hut, a perfect Easter break. Hosts are lovely, recommended for little breaks when you want to get away from busy life

I really loved this place!!!! It was the best place on our road trip. I could/would have liked to stay muuuuch longer!!! Hellie and John are just the cutest, I would have loved to get to know them better and to discover the area around more. I would love to come back!!

The best Easter Weekend spent at the hut! Had everything we needed and more. Lots of little attention to detail and extras. It was 4 days we’ll never forget. Cerys was so helpful and lovely! Myself, my husband and our 8 year old had the best time and can’t recommend enough. Big thank you to Cerys’s gorgeous twin girls that were the best tour guides and friend to our daughter. We really didn’t want to go home. We’ll be back 🩷 xx

Great little Shepherds hut. Ideal for a 2 night break. Very comfy bed. Amanda was very helpful. Superb surroundings. We walked to Llangollen and back along the Canal.

We had a dreamy stay at the Ramblers Retreat, what a beautiful place. It was so peaceful to sit out and admire the view, the donkeys ( Holly and Lucy) made it even more special, they were great! All in all, it had everything we needed to relax and unwind!

We had an amazing stay here! Everything was spotless, including the bathroom. The hut was lovely and warm, with everything you need. The area was beautiful, with donkeys, horses and the lovely farm dog who came to visit us a few times. We felt very safe staying here. We were only a couple minutes drive from Conwy but it was also an easy 20 minute walk into the town. As well, it was a great location for hiking/ walking. With some beautiful trails only a 30 minute drive away. Would definitely recommend staying here! Thank you😊

What an amazing place to stay! Massive thanks to Becca and Richard for making us feel so welcome in the Shepherds Hut. The accommodation is outstanding, everything you need and more. High quality furnishings, super comfy bed and lovely little treats to welcome us; super tasty cake and fresh flowers. Such a lovely night away to celebrate our wedding anniversary- we were gutted we couldn’t have stayed longer. Thanks again xx

Our stay in Garth was wonderful. It was peaceful and exactly what we needed to unwind. The shepherd's hut was clean and beautifully laid out, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The decking was also nice to sit out on for our final morning. It was ideally located for Llangollen and the Fron Aqueduct and luckily the weather brightened up so we could see both at their best. Russell was a great host. He met us upon our arrival and talked us through some of the key points. He responded to any messages quickly and was happy to resolve any issues or answer any questions we had. A brilliant stay and we will be going back.

What a fabulous break we had! We enjoyed a relaxing weekend in beautifully peaceful surroundings, which were exactly as the photographs depicted! Holly and her daughter were very welcoming, and communication was practically instant during our booking confirmation, even down to making sure our hot tub was ready and waiting for immediate use. This was for a small extra charge, but very much appreciated. We will definitely be back to visit again!

We have just returned from our minimoon after our wedding on Friday. Our stay exceeded our expectations! Bryn's communication was exceptional. He was flexible with our plans changing to include our fur baby, answered messages quickly and with accurate map Pins to make places easy to find. His recommendations were great, the nearby pub 'The Ravon' - delicious food, attentive staff and a cosy atmosphere. The nearby indian, wow the best we've had and the 'Bay Tree Cafe' what a gem! Bryn was friendly, approachable and went above and beyond to make our stay special with newly wed bunting, a bottle of bubbles and some homemade produce which was super tasty. Everything from the property itself, to the log burner, views and hot tub made our stay one we will never forget. It was a really special time as we enjoyed our new bubble as husband and wife! We will definitely return, Bryn has a special set-up here and his personable approach makes it. We will be regualars how. The Listers x

Steve’s place was very cosy, ideal for a 1 night stay with warm weather as you choose this place for the outside accommodations (the fire pit and hammock, with the lounge shed being a good addition.) There is nowhere you can cook unless you bring a BBQ or use the microwave and the fridge is small but practical. Steve’s service is unmatched, he left balloons for my girlfriend since it was her birthday, gave plenty of options for restaurants in the area, left loads of firewood which kept us going for a few hours. The place was very clean too to bottom and the layout was well thought out. The walls are well insulated so you won’t be cold. Also, the sheep are friendly.

had a fantastic stay at the shepherds hut! The hut was very clean and cosy with everything provided. the surrounding views of the hills and mountains were outstanding! Beth as a host was amazing, she made sure we had everything we need and went extra doing things like lighting the hot tub so it was ready for our arrival. my gf and I are already talking about coming back, I couldn't recommend this place enough!
