Our cabin is rustic yet enchanting. Hand-built in 1947, Longacres is the perfect cozy place to unplug and unwind. But if you need high-speed internet, you’ve got it! Old Town Manteo is a charming harbor town where you will feel far from the beach boxes and OBX crowds. Longacres is 1 mile from downtown, a 5 minute walk to the Roanoke Sound and a 12 minute drive to the Nags Head beaches. To complete your adventure, we provide bikes and kayaks so you can explore the water and town at your own pace.

This cottage is located in Wanchese, a quiet fishing village in the Outer Banks. The 3 bed 3.5 bath home is a mere 200 yards away from a public boat ramp & offers 61’ boat parking, an outdoor fish cleaning table, grill & picnic table. It’s a 15 min drive to the beach. Have a cup of coffee on the porch while watching fishing boats head out for their daily catch and enjoy views of Bodie Island Lighthouse. The home features photos and articles of the Daniels family business, Wanchese Fish Company.

See our "hall of art" where each hallway is an art galleries Laney Layton of Edenton working as an artist since 1973. Just look for her signatures. You tube "tour of Manteo nc" to see this special location in the heart of downtown on a 2nd floor overlooking the lighthouse and Shallowbag bay. Walk to restaurants, bars, shops, docks, and Festival Park/Elizabeth II. Visit The Lost Colony/Fort Raleigh/Elizabethan Gardans, NC Aquarium, and Jockey's Ridge. La Vida Isla Guesthouse

La Vida Isla is a quiet, shady retreat from the beach. This is a place to unwind and relax. We are in a safe neighborhood on Roanoke Island. The cottage is an airy and calming space. We take great strides to make sure it is super clean and well maintained. Our goal is to provide a space for complete relaxation. The cottage and outdoor spaces are very private. There is a patio area with outdoor seating as well as a screened porch. Listen to the wind chimes and birds. Enjoy the flowers.

We have created this cottage as a place for couples, remote workers, small families or friends seeking a unique space unwind. The space is decorated in nautical theme with collectibles & décor we hope you will enjoy. Stay with us relax, and enjoy Manteo's charm. Cozy OBX beach getaway. 2 bedroom/2 bath townhouse. Convenient yet private end unit with great sunset and marsh views. Perfect for couples and small groups of families or friends. Front and back porches. Parking for 2 vehicles. Private boat slip out back door with access to Roanoke Sound. Conveniently located on Roanoke Island in the gated Pirate’s Cove community steps away from Pirate’s Cove marina, pool (seasonal), tennis courts, playground, restaurant, bar, and ship’s store.

Crews Cottage on Roanoke Island (Outer Banks, NC)

Located in the forested dunes of Roanoke Island, Crews Cottage is attached to the main house of owners through a breezeway and screened porch. No steps! (See Accessibility section.) Approximately 1000 square feet in total size, it features a large private bedroom (queen bed) with bathroom/shower. The great room has a pullout sofa bed (full) and love seat bed (twin). Kitchenette features full-sized refrigerator, convection microwave oven, toaster, and coffee maker. Sorry, no pets.

Cozy Cottage near Historic Downtown Manteo! This adorable cottage is fully decorated, well equipped, and located only blocks from historical downtown Manteo! Easily walk to or use the bikes. Explore the history, grab lunch and a coffee while you hit the quaint shops. If fishing and exploring is more your speed, there are several charters and tours that start at the Manteo marina area. Oh yeah, Nags Head beach, just 6 miles away!

The Perch - Sunsets Overlooking Saltwater Marsh

Perched above the marsh, on quiet Roanoke Island, this 1 bedroom/1 bath studio apartment, built in 2021, with a private porch and spectacular views is sure to be the Outer Banks getaway you have been searching for. This detached apartment with private access and reserved parking offers a full kitchen, outdoor grill, washer & dryer, the supplies needed to spend the day at the beach and a cozy fireplace for cooler OBX nights.

Creef Cottage is nestled in the heart of historic downtown Manteo, North Carolina on Roanoke Island, where there are boardwalks on the Albermarle Sound, bikepaths, shopping, and dining within walking distance. Roanoke Island is the home of the longest running outdoor drama, "The Lost Colony", Elizabethan Gardens, and North Carolina Aquarium. It is a 10 minute drive to the ocean. There is much to do and see in this area.
