Woodland Cabin Near the Sound; Unplug and Relax

Our cabin is rustic yet enchanting. Hand-built in 1947, Longacres is the perfect cozy place to unplug and unwind. But if you need high-speed internet, you’ve got it! Old Town Manteo is a charming harbor town where you will feel far from the beach boxes and OBX crowds. Longacres is 1 mile from downtown, a 5 minute walk to the Roanoke Sound and a 12 minute drive to the Nags Head beaches. To complete your adventure, we provide bikes and kayaks so you can explore the water and town at your own pace.

The Electric Turtle

This beautiful 2 BR, 2 BA, top-level apt is located a block from the beach, facing the sound, in S Nags Head. "The Electric Turtle" sleeps 6 and is on a quiet, dead-end street. Many attractions are conveniently located within walking/biking distance: mini golf, the Adventure Park, & the Nags Head Outlet Mall. The beach is straight across the bypass with a private entrance for our street and surrounding condos. Wi-Fi, bed linens, towels, coffee ,tea, & many other essentials are all included.

La Vida Isla Guesthouse

La Vida Isla is a quiet, shady retreat from the beach. This is a place to unwind and relax. We are in a safe neighborhood on Roanoke Island. The cottage is an airy and calming space. We take great strides to make sure it is super clean and well maintained. Our goal is to provide a space for complete relaxation. The cottage and outdoor spaces are very private. There is a patio area with outdoor seating as well as a screened porch. Listen to the wind chimes and birds. Enjoy the flowers.

Whether you stay home or go out your options are endless. Some local eats and activities are walking distance away, and others are a very short drive. There is plenty of space and activities at home from hot tub, ping pong, basketball, fire pit and a great outdoor seating area. Bring your fur baby for the full family experience.

We have created this cottage as a place for couples, remote workers, small families or friends seeking a unique space unwind. The space is decorated in nautical theme with collectibles & décor we hope you will enjoy. Stay with us relax, and enjoy Manteo's charm. We do allow pets with a small additional cleaning fee on a case by case basis. Feel free to ask us anything.

Roanoke Island is the home of the longest running outdoor drama, "The Lost Colony", Elizabethan Gardens, and North Carolina Aquarium. It is a 10 minute drive to the ocean. There is much to do and see in this area.
