This cabin oasis was exactly what we needed, providing great proximity to Olympic National Park, beautiful mountain views, a great town with shopping and dining, and even a ferry traveling to Victoria Canada. We would absolutely love to stay here again and an added bonus was the large TV in the bedroom, which was not pictured, but a welcome surprise and nice way to wind down after a day of adventures - and the bed! possibly the comfiest bed I've ever slept on, with a plethora of pillows, which can be scarce at some hotels and air BNBs. The covered back porch, hot tub, grill, and fire pit were also extremely appreciated and handy to have. 10/10, it was honestly hard to leave!

Such a wonderful experience at their treehouse, can't wait to come back another time~. Hosts were accommodating and responsive!

Shannon went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable after a long drive! Responsive when we had any questions. Liam was great with communication as well. This cabin we didn’t want to leave, it’s so cozy and has more than you need for a relaxing peaceful getaway, fire pit outside, hot tub, fire inside, we will be back, walk to Kinsol Trestle bridge, close drive to lake. Thanks Shannon and hosts for a relaxing getaway. Can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful home, extremely comfortable. Anything you could possibly need was there, we didn't want for anything. Ryan was great host, very proactive with his communication. I had one question that I had to call him about, he answered my call right away, very polite and wanted to make sure I was satisfied with the answer. There is an amazing fireplace and everything you need to build a fire a readily available, nothing we had to supply like some places. The outside ground maintenance is pristine and the view from the back yard of the ocean is breath taking. Thank you Ryan for making our getaway comfortable and unforgettable.

This cabin was very spacious, had high ceilings and many windows looking out to gorgeous views. The beds were very comfortable and the whole places was incredibly well stocked. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked inviting as did the dining table on the deck looking toward the mountain range. We hope to return soon!

The place was perfect for a couples retreat. The home and hot tub were clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Nancy was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed, including some extras like a bottle of wine and all the fixing to make smores. We definitely would come back!

We fell in love with Guemes Island! We could not be more grateful to stay in such a wonderful and peaceful spot. We hope to visit The Woodpecker many more times over the years! Our 18 month old son had the time of his life playing on the beaches and coming home to such an inviting atmosphere. 1000 out of 10. Would recommend to any and all !

We had a wonderful stay at the driftwood for the second time! Excellent location and super cozy cabin, could not recommend it more.

Our stay at Scott’s place for our 1 year anniversary was absolutely perfect. We are so happy we chose to stay outside of downtown Friday Harbor & got to enjoy the island for 3 nights. We will be back to stay here again in the future. Amazingly cozy bed, perfect deck to enjoy morning coffee, sooooo peaceful (soul healing) and we felt so welcome at Scott’s cabin. The kitchen was perfectly equipped for light bites & snacks between meals (for us) with an adorable retro refrigerator. Highly recommend for anyone that is looking to enjoy downtown Friday Harbor + all of the surrounding spots on the island ( Roche Harbor, Westcott Bay Shellfish Farm, Cattle point Road/lighthouse, English Camp, etc). Each stop felt like a very easy drive, and we saw so much unexpected beauty. Thank you very much to Scott and his wife for the PERFECT stay.

Vilupti & Timothy are wonderful hosts and we were lucky to catch them on our visit. They were so welcoming and friendly and really made a difference. Their property is beautiful and truly special. The view at the water is so memorable and if you're looking for some peace and quiet this is the place. Just far away enough from everything but still not more than 20min from anything. Highly recommend this stay for families!

Had a very peaceful stay at this place with amazing Mt. Baker in backdrop and also got to see the full moon in full glory against the sea water. One could enjoy the sunrise on a clear day which we did and to watch sunset it is a few mins drive and we enjoyed that as well. Overall a clean and cozy place to spend some quiet and peaceful time by the bay.

Our stay was perfect for our needs! The instructions provided to get to the place were incredibly clear, making our arrival smooth and stress-free. Getting inside was super easy, just as described. The place had all the amenities listed, which was great for our short stay. It was the ideal location for us to rest our heads before catching our morning ferry ride to Victoria. The convenience was exactly what we needed. We had a wonderful, albeit brief, stay and would definitely consider booking this place again when we return to the area for another trip to Victoria or to explore Olympic National Park. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay!

This was our second year staying at the house and it was a hit once again. The master bedroom is absolutely gorgeous with all the natural lighting. The dock can get a little chilly but kayaking around the lake was fantastic. Would highly recommend!

We love, love, love Kalani's place. We found the lovely, peaceful location... perfect for the ultimate relaxation. We will be back for sure.

We absolutely loved staying at the farm! Lisa is very welcoming and the animals are irresistible. The yurt was charming and peaceful and the amenities were perfect for our stay. We loved visiting with the donkeys (Stanley & Ollie), goats, and cows (Evangeline & Lulu) while strolling through the farm, take in the fresh air, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. It was as perfect a getaway as we could have hope for. Thank you!

Such a relaxing place to stay! Incredible views, comfy bed and sofa, and we loved the record and VHS collection. Would recommend the nearby Oaks Bluff viewpoint (we easily walked from the house) and the couples massage at Woods. The only thing we found tricky to use was the oven / cooker. It’s as the photos show - very charming and you just have to be patient!

Highly recommend this private setting as a base for exploring the Olympic Peninsula. Well stocked with everything you need, even coffee.

Wonderful cabin with lake frontage. Deck with steps leads down to extensive lawn to lake edge. Private dock to walk out on and sit in Adirondack chairs. Living room with extensive window looks out onto lake. Kitchen is well-equipped. Family lives in the lakefront compound in a separate house. They are hospitable and helpful yet respect your privacy. Local attractions abound. The hosts suggested the Lakehouse Restaurant (seven minute drive away) which had fine dining in an informal log cabin-style setting overlooking the lake. Wonderful food and service. Altogether, this is a premiere property in all respects, and we recommend it--and its hosts--in the highest terms and with our highest regard.

I was in search of a serene “in the woods” experience. My stay at this Airbnb exceeded my expectations in every way. I knew on the first day that I wanted to extend my stay. I was able to add an extra nights stay and was able to do so. I would have stayed longer but it was already booked. I slept delightfully so on the most comfortable king size bed, the best pillows I have ever slept on (I travel a lot and know good pillows:-) Deer grazing as I drank my morning coffee and watched them through all the windows in the cabin was picture perfect…everything was perfect. I will be returning.

Wonderful place for a family, lovely sea view, lots of place to sit and have a picnic outside, pristine clean, kayaks and a boat available to borrow for free, free snacks and fully equipped kitchen. Very friendly and responsive host. Washer and dryer available to use as well. Will definitely be back!
