Cabin Retreat-Steps from the Beach

Entire cabin steps from a quiet beach, in the peaceful cabin area of Sylvan Lake. Take the boardwalk to our downtown restaurants, children's parks, and local shops! Use our paddle boards and beach gear to experience the lake. Enjoy our firepit, front and back decks, and private enclosed backyard. Parking provided conveniently out front. From our location you can walk anywhere and save the parking fees. Our cozy cabin is equipped with all the necessities you need for a wonderful stay at the lake!

The historic Rosebud Cafe

Natural beauty surrounds this historic getaway. The sunrises from here are unrivalled along with stunning expansive views. The building has evolved from a teacherage to a grain bin to a Cafe & now the tiny guesthouse you see. Rustic in nature with separate outdoor composting toilet (see pics for throne room interior!) & outdoor shower (summer only). Numerous walking trails on the 160acres double for XC skiing and snowshoeing in winter. Property is shared with a cabin, campsites and a treehouse.

McDonald Log Cabin, ATV Friendly

Come relax in the peaceful Haworth log cabin nestled on the hillside of Prairie Creek. Named for an original settler of Strachan valley, this cabin is completely modern but built in the traditional style of the homesteaders of Strachan Valley. Perched at the end of the road, along the edge of the hillside, you will have privacy and comfort. Enjoy the mountain view from your front patio while the fire crackles beside you. Log cabins have full kitchen, bathroom, in floor heat and sleeps 4.

The Getaway

This cabin is titled The Getaway as it can serve as a place where you can truly escape a busy life to truly take a break. Only 1/2 a block from the beach and about one kilometres from the busiest hub of Lakeshore Drive, you can park your car in the driveway, and then spend your entire stay on foot. In addition to a location that offers so much, this A-frame cabin has lots for you to do. Board games, books, a fire pit, and a hot tub are just a few things to do without leaving The Getaway.

Rafter 2W Guest Cabins - Cabin #1

Cozy cabin with full amenities surrounded by crown land. Bring your quads and ride directly from the property trails everywhere. Relax with the whole family and roast marshmallows by your own private firepit. This is cabin#1 of 3 cabins on the property. Pets are very welcome as each cabin is private and has lots of room to play on. Walking trails are also on the property with a lookout of the mountains. There is a $25 pet cleaning fee please add your pet to the reservation when booking.

Clearwater Cottage

A place to experience the best parts of camping with the comforts of a quaint little cabin. Summer Capacity - 12 people Winter Capacity - 8 people Main cabin has all amenities with two loft bedrooms and a third on the main level. Beautiful indoor fireplace completes cozy feeling. Sleeps 8 comfortably The two tiny cabins located alongside the main cabin include electricity and heat. One cabin sleeps 2 and one cabin sleeps 3 The property is located on 1.5 acres of private space.

Rustic riverfront cabin

Rustic cabin on the banks of the Raven River. Offers a king sized bed, single bunk beds and a pullout couch. Kitchen space with the basics and a table. Access to public washrooms/showers close by. Heated with a wood stove. Fish, walk, splash & relax around a campfire at this oasis. One of two air bnb spaces we offer at the Raven River Hideaway. This family property has always been shared because we can't keep the beauty and serenity to ourselves!

1 minute away from public beach, The area is great for people watching, and walking distance to many local restaurants, pubs, and ice cream shops. You'll find a pizza hut and a bowling alley again within a minute walk off of 50th ave. Please note: During the summer months we accept 7 day reservations only with check in on Fridays only. If you would like to extend your stay to a 14 day reservation, please send me a request through airbnb messaging.

Our cabin is a small walk away from the public beach, with lake views. There are some fantastic restaurants and breweries in the neighbourhood.
