Our family warmly invites you to experience a stay in our tiny home, Sea La Vie. Centrally located in Rodanthe, North Carolina on Hatteras Island. We hope you will find Sea La Ve to be as charming and cozy as we do. With lots of warm lighting, comfy furniture, a bonus outside shower, and private beach access it is the perfect spot to come and escape reality! The beach is located at the end of our road and can be reached by foot in less than 5 minutes, but also feel free to drive.

Summer is in full swing and the ocean temperatures are mild :) Enjoy marsh views with an ocean backdrop from the covered porch of our little modern beach house. Designed and built by us, the Surf Bug has handcrafted details and everything you might need to feel at home while away from home. The beach is just a three minute walk without crossing any streets. I am a meticulous cleaner, and the white 100% cotton bedding is made in Portugal.

The surf shack is rustic living ! This space is designed for serious surfers and kiteboarders , if you are looking for the 4 seasons this is not it , but if you want to hit the beach you are here!

Hot tub/Semi-Oceanfront Lot/Ocean Views/King bed

This brand new tiny house (Mini Mahalo) completed in 2023 has amazing ocean views from the semi-oceanfront lot. Just steps to the beach with a great outdoor shower and hot tub. The bedroom is upstairs with a king bed and great ocean views. The kitchenette has a microwave, breville countertop oven, dishwasher, blender, small drip coffee maker and a kitchen sink. There is an outdoor propane grill underneath the house.

Barefoot Bungalow - peaceful oceanside studio

Enjoy island time at our tranquil bungalow! Located in a quiet cul-de-sac just south of Rodanthe pier, this newly renovated backyard studio has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Nearby beach access. Lounge in the hammock chairs, ride bikes through the villages, or sink into the brand new memory foam mattress - however you like to unwind, we have it covered!
