This is how a 2-year-old would see it when walking up the four steps that lead to the yellow door. The bed is not this way now (I like moving furniture around) but it might be this way when you come.

À propos de ce logement

This bedroom is the place where I live, work and play music. I rent it for those travelers searching for a closed private space for their own (especially couples, or couples with small kids), but don't mind (or enjoy!) me staying in the living room.

What can I tell you about my home? It is as tiny, handy and nice as an apartment can be for some great days in Montevideo.

You will be blessed by the sun for each and every minute of daylight; it just can't get better. It is ideal for reading, writing, composing or playing any musical instrument you might want to bring home!

While in the middle of one of Montevideo's best located neighborhoods, you will still be able to listen to birds (especially on weekends) and feel as if living surrounded by nature.

This area of Pocitos, which has nothing to do with the same neighborhood but three blocks away from my place, is extremely safe, has great access to public transportation, nice parks at walking distance, and is full of services (laundry just across the street, supermarkets just one block away). There is also a well-known brewery house right in the corner with great dishes that is ideal for those nights when you come back home and don't feel like cooking or moving too far to have a drink.

What else? I don't know; I love my house!

If you need further information, don't hesitate to contact me.

Cheers!

You will have access to the entire house, which is small but comfortable enough. The terrace is the nicest spot, and it can be enjoyed even in winter (if rain allows it!). Most of the house faces North. Therefore, the sun will warm and color your stay in a beautiful way.

I love my city and I have travelled around so I know how valuable it is to have someone to talk with about local stuff. I am always ready to provide my guests with information, help them move around, learn about local culture and, hopefully, make the most of their stay.

Although my neighborhood is located in a residential area of Montevideo, it is also close to Montevideo's nicest theaters, bars, museums and other attractions. The atmosphere is quiet but still lively. Ideal for those who love to walk cities around and discover the simple things by sightseeing and interacting with locals.

My house is located in a very convenient area of Montevideo, close to bars, restaurants and downtown. In fact, most visitors either move around walking or by bike. I have two bikes (one slightly old or "vintage", as you would call it nowadays) which I can lend most of the time. There is a bus stop right across my house and taxis are available 24/7. It is a really safe neighborhood.

I love meeting people and exchanging ideas about life, culture and whatever interests them. Music is something I enjoy especially. In fact, with many hosts I did this exchange: I gave them one CD containing music from Uruguay (some original CD, one piece of art I value and feel they might enjoy) and they gave me one CD they loved (it didn't need to be of music from their country, although I really enjoy that).

Smoking is only allowed in the terrace; apart from that, there are not many house rules except for "take real care of everything; this is my house, where I live everyday and I am opening widely to you!".
