This home is rich in signs of art and culture, once being the studio of a painter. The independent house, with private patio with lake view, is an inspiring place: it's sorroundend by the beauty of Lake Como, in the heart of an ancient "borgo" (village): no cars, walking only!
The home used to be the studio of a painter who restored the old XVIII century building and left books of art and paintings in the house.
The interior decoration is "vintage", original from the Seventies.
The house has a nice, private patio where guest can relax in the sun, enjoying the view of the lake.
Ideal for a couple, romantic holiday, the house has 2 floors and hosts comfortably 4 persons (2 separate beds in a mezzanine + 1 double sof-bed) . One bathroom with tub and shower and another just with WC and sink.
Accès des voyageurs
Guests can use the entire house and the patio. It's a 2 floor detached house, with a stair outside thats connects the ground floor with the patio.
Échanges avec les voyageurs
The owner doesn't live in the village of Careno but can reach it to welcome guests or arrange reception through neighboors or other. If required, the owner can provide full assistance on the phone, before or during your trip and stay: English and Espanol spoken.
Please take note that the house cannot be reached by car: the village has only pedestrian routes. The place is very quiet and offers a very simple and back-to-past style vacation. The house is NOT recommended to very little children and to persons who do not like/can walk easy. Food shops, pharmacy, bars and other facilities are 2 kms far. The village offers a typical restaurant open from May to October. Careno has a small but charmy beach. Easy connections to and from Como/Bellagio by bus and boat. No private parking, free park on the main road.
No sunbathing topless in the patio.
No barbecue in the patio nor in the fireplace
Books in the house library can be consulted on sight but not taken away.
The village silence hours must be respected, due to the fact that the houses are very close to one another.

Figlia d'artista (Alvaro Molteni, pittore astrattista), vorrei condividere con i miei ospiti l'incanto del mio lago e di quegli angoli poco conosciuti ma davvero magici.
