This Tahoe chalet has a homie comfy feel. Your spacious bedroom has a queen size bed, new carpet and morning sun! Private bath is down the hall.
The home is located in a quiet neighborhood and walking distance to shops, post, library, and beach.
Your cozy room is located on the 2nd floor in the front of the house. You wake up to the morning sun. Your bathroom is right down the hall.
Enjoy my chalet in the pines. I am located in a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to cafe's and shopping. Sit on the front deck with a cup of coffee in the morning sun or afternoon wine on the back deck, after a day of exploring the beauties of the Sierras and Tahoe basin.

If I am here, I love to share my Tahoe experiences and provide information on hiking, trails, beach access, entertainment and dining. Or in winter sharing the 7 ski resorts in the area.
We have a Visitors center in the middle of town which is full of brochures on activities available around the lake. There are historical, science and cultural attractions in the area.
Any time of year, Tahoe has many things to offer. My favorite are: hiking (the Tahoe Rim Trail is a must!), biking, kayaking, SUP boarding, beaching it, viewing the color change of aspen leaves in the fall, snow shoeing, skiing, x country skiing, snowboarding at any of the resorts. Diamond Peak is just a few miles away.
Please enjoy yourself, the clean air and water. Relax, this is Tahoe.
Be respectful, I like to share my extra bedroom and bath with friendly guests visiting the Lake Tahoe area.
No smoking. Pets may be considered.

I am an outdoor enthusiast. Nature speaks to me. Movement is important. I completed the Camino de Santiago - a 500 mile pilgrimage across northern Spain - at the age of 67. My passion to communicate with the local people made my heart swell.
I am a Tahoe Rim Trail ( a trail of 165 miles around Lake Tahoe) guide. Love to share my 'hood' with visitors or locals. Recent passion is the purchase of a pedal/paddle kayak. Being out on the lake gives such a different perspective.
I am retired educator and find myself constantly learning and 'teaching'. I have traveled as a US Servas traveler ....and have stayed with locals in Italy and Spain. Would like to go abroad again, but just became a grandmother, so have tapped into a different part of my heart. Love a romantic comedy anyway or night. Food has never been my strength...good with eating just spinach for dinner. Reading the Autobiography of a Yogi right now and find strength in spiritual reading.
As a Airbnb host I would share what I know..... and make things pleasant and comfy for my guests.
