Villa Samithru is a unique architectural masterpiece designed by one of Sri Lanka's most eminent architects and located in an idyllic rural setting. The property is located approximately 20 miles south Colombo near Wadduwa. The property also features a cascading swimming pool and extensive gardens. It is an ideal location to relax and unwind for families or couples.
The main property consists of a large open plan bungalow with variety of living and entertainment spaces, including inner garden, patios and a library. There is a well equipped kitchen for guests wishing to self cater.
Extensive gardens surround the property and includes a cascading childrens pool and main swimming pool which overlook rice fields.

Things to do
Either at the pool at home (including kids pool) or beach which is 15 minutes away from home by car or tuk tuk.
There is a winding track within the land with slight climbs and dips suitable for walking or cycling. Keen cyclists could enjoy the scenic vistas in the neighbouring villages with safety.
There is a fair sized collection of interesting books depicting Sri lankan culture and other interests in the home library.
Relax in the shade beside the pond which has a man made water fall.
Cinnamon peeling and and predation thereof in to sticks in the traditional way from home grown cinnamon trees could be witnessed during the harvesting season.
Guests may smoke outside the house, but must ensure cigarette butts etc are discarded properly into a bin.
