Perfect for a couple, this private, self-contained studio is surrounded by mountains. On the way to Coronet Peak & walk to Onsen Hot Pools & Shotover Jet. 10 min drive into Queenstown & 15 kms to Arrowtown or airport. Enjoy the private deck & garden.

Le logement

Perfect studio for a couple, this private, self-contained studio is surrounded by majestic mountains and tree covered hills. It's on the way to Coronet Peak Skifield, and you can walk to the world famous Shotover Jet.

Enjoy sun drenched days on your own private deck and garden with a BBQ, or take your skis and enjoy the day in the snow. There is a kitchenette with convection microwave (no stove) and fridge to keep you fed and a washing machine and drier to keep your gear clean and dry. One comfy queen bed will send you off to sleep at the end of the day.

With Queenstown being the adventure capital of New Zealand you will never run out of things to do.

The best way to get around is by car as the best places to visit are out of town. But yoy can also catch the Snowline Express to Coronet Peak running every 20 minutes from 8am to midday from the bus stop right outside the studio, or cross the road and catch the local bus into Queenstown - the schedule is currently a bit haphazard though.

Other nearby attractions include the Onsen indoor/outdoor Hot Pools and the Nugget Point Spa. Only a ten minute drive from the centre of town and 15kms from Queenstown's International Airport and historic Arrowtown.

Comfortable all in one space - except the bathroom of course.
Beautifully appointed (or so we have been told).

Key pad entry so arrive and depart when you want. The code for the door, and other information for your arrival and stay with us, will be supplied by AirBnB on confirmation of booking.

We can meet you at arrival or after 5:30 depending on the day. Otherwise we can help when needed or you don't have to see us at all.

Accès des voyageurs

The studio is self-contained with access to its own private garden with a BBQ. There is no access to the main house.

Autres remarques

We have noticed that some people miss that cooking is limited - convection microwave and an outside BBQ.
Hiring a car is the best way to get around. Some of the best features of the area are away from town.

Présence d'animaux de compagnie sur place - Our dog is in a separate yard and shouldn't be disturbed if we are not home, only because we have an electric fence for him.

WOW! Great place. My 15yr old son says "mum this should be 5star",and I totally agree. Couldn't be more perfect. Super clean, fresh, new and in a prestigious neighbourhood. The hosts were excellent in every way. Lets face it NZ is like OZ, you need a car to get around. This place is in the perfect location. Tip: buy your groceries from the grocerystore on the road to this place. Buy your bus ticket from the snow centre, and catch the bus right outside. I was able to collect my email using my apartments wifi whilst waiting for the bus, that's how close it is. Cant fault this stay at all! Highly recommend.

Great location and views from the room. Super warm and lovely to stay in, also only 10 minutes from Queenstown/Skiing and a 10 minute walk from the Onsen Hot Springs. Perfect all round.

This place was fantastic! I'd stay here again. Clean, tidy, plenty of space for a single traveller. You need a car to get to places but its worth it for the peace and quiet. The best bed ive had at an air bnb.

Andrew and Liz's place offers a great location at a good price. It's close enough to Queenstown to see all the sights, but far enough away to have some peace and quiet. If you're keen to see the Shotover River (or maybe try a jet boat), this place is perfect. Andrew and Liz's place was big enough for us to fit a port-a-cot for our toddler. It was lovely and clean, with a modern fit-out.

For our first time in New Zealand, we couldn't have asked for better hosts! Not only were we pleasantly surprised with the fact that these guys were fellow Aussies, but their hospitality and friendliness is second to none. The room itself is an absolute steal for what they're offering and upon arrival, it was very clear that they take a great amount of care in making sure that the room is clean and tidy before settling in. The bathroom is simple but very nice and the shower is super nice and spacious. The bed is extremely comfortable along with a sofa bed for those with more than two. They have also taken the liberty to include maps and information about the local area, along with menus for some of the nearby resteraunts. A massive bonus was the epic view of the mountains from the house, along with the location being not even a 10 minute drive to Queenstown CBD, even less to the closest grocery store. Should also mention that they have parking for those renting cars which was perfect! If you have the opportunity to make a booking with Andrew and Liz, do it. Loved our stay :)

Very cosy private granny flat which is a great base for exploring Queenstown. Extremely close to a few of the main attractions (shot over river/rafting and onsen pools). Very clean and well equipped with amenities including a kitchenette/washer + dryer and one of the comfiest beds we've slept in. Probably best to get a rental car as it's about a 5-7 minute drive to the city centre but if you're after somewhere local/quiet with some beautiful scenery it's perfect. Excellent communication and help from the hosts Andrew & Liz. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

We are happy to meet with you when you arrive, and we are contactable (through the AirBnB app is best) if there are any problems or if you have any questions at any time - if we are not at home we will not be far away.

À propos de Andrew & Liz

We are a couple living in the greatest part of the world - Queenstown.
And we don't say that lightly. Between the two of us we have travelled through Europe, Scandinavia, the US, Canada and most recently Japan. We are originally from Australia and have experienced almost everything it has to offer, only the northern coastline eludes us.
On top of our wish list is Antartica, with South America on the same trip.
But our favourite place is Queenstown - and we live here. It doesn't get much better than that.
