This 1 bed holiday flat is entirely yours for your stay.

I highly recommend coming by train as once you are here it is so easy to get around on foot, bus, train or taxi.

Literally surrounded by shops, restaurants, bars, pubs and the beach.

Brighton is a short bus ride away or a 30 min walk along the promenade or along Church Road passing shops, bars and restaurants all the way.

You enter your own front door to the flat. The hall leads you to the lounge straight ahead and bedroom on the right hand side.

BEDROOM

The double bed has a deep mattress topped with a good quality topper and mattress protector. The bed has a king size duvet which is an all seasons duvet (in hot weather part can easily removed and stored). There is plenty of storage in the 3 oak chest of drawers as well a hanging rack with shelf and basket above. There is a hair dryer and pair of straighteners in the bedside chest of drawers.

LOUNGE - Contemporary sofa and a winged armchair, small knitted pouffe, 2 wooden chests, a 32 inch Freeview TV which has an Amazon Firestick (many apps including Netflix for guests use), folding table with 4 chairs stored inside.

The kitchen is an open area to the side of the lounge.

KITCHEN

The kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook. There is a slimline dishwasher and washing machine as well as the Neff oven, hob and full size fridge freezer. There is plenty of crockery, cutlery, utensils etc as well as a kettle, toaster and a Nespresso machine. All the instructions are supplied as well as basic supplies such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, Nespresso pods, tea, coffee, sugar, tin foil, cling film etc. If you require any other kitchen equipment please ask. Please note there is no microwave.

Gas central heating is controlled by a portable room thermostat usually kept next to the boiler cupboard in the kitchen area and in addition the radiators have thermostatic radiator valves to individually control the heat to each room. At the far end of the kitchen there is a breakfast bar with 2 stools and from here there is a door to a small front garden area which can be used for smoking or a quiet drink. Please do not use this area after 11 at night.

BATHROOM

BRAND NEW BATHROOM. The door to the bathroom is at the rear of the lounge. There is a thermostatic shower enclosure and double ended bath. We supply bathroom towels (there are extra towels in the bedroom drawers if required) and other bathroom basics.

Où se situe le logement

Central Hove has much to offer with many restaurants and bars within walking distance of the property.

My favourites are as follows :-

LatinoAmerica which is on Church Road and specialises in steak.

The Giggling Squid is the local Thai and for Chinese food lovers there is Hins.

Paris Wine Bar is next to Hins and does lovely food and platters and has a large covered and heated garden area. Also does Sunday lunch and is dog friendly.

Gail’s Bakery at the bottom of George street (next street along Church Road to the right) - amazing pastries and cakes to take away as well as a eat in cafe.

Modelo Lounge is child and dog friendly. Great for a leisurely coffee or a bottle of wine as well as all day breakfasts and casual eating.

New to Church Road opposite the end of Ventnor Villas is Hixon Green which does amazing breakfast, lunches or cocktails and platters in the evening.

If a traditional local pub is what you are after then my favourite is Hove Place in First Avenue which has a lovely pet friendly garden and serves good food.

My favourite restaurants in Brighton are Food for Friends and Terre a Terre - these are both vegetarian (which I am not) and the food is amazing.

There are loads of shops (many independent) in and around the restaurants, bars, and cafes.

I highly recommend walking from the flat to Brighton (there are of course buses and taxis) either along Church Road into Western Road as there are shops cafes etc the whole route or down to the seafront and walk along the promenade which gets busier with cafes, restaurant, shops, i360 as you get nearer to Brighton. Takes about 20 - 30 mins.

A professional landlord with several years experience. Since starting the first Airbnb in 2016 I now have 3 Airbnb’s in the same building in Hove. I live above the Airbnb’s. I also manage an Airbnb close by in Ventnor Villas. The Airbnb’s are a 1 bed with very small outside area, another 1 bed with sofa bed in the lounge and patio garden, a two bed, one bath with ‘beach style, garden and patio plus separately listed 2 bed 2 bath with split level garden ask for link). All flats have self check in using a lock box. I am however happy to personally greet guests on check in if guests prefer or there are any problems or queries. I also enjoy visiting other Airbnb’s at home and abroad. Always good to see how others do it.

Pendant votre séjour

Lock boxes provide an easy self check in but I live 2 floors above the property in Flat 4 (main front door). We will be happy to recommend local restaurants and give advice when needed.
