"The Annex" is located on the east side of Lake Pymatuning. The Annex consists of two bedrooms that sleep four, a living room/dining area with a queen size hide-a-bed , and one and one half baths. The Annex has a kitchen with modern appliances and cook ware. WIFI is available on a limited basis. The grounds include a picnic area and a pergola. Lake side lawn chairs and hammocks look out on a small beach and Lake Pymatuning.
Do you like to laze about in a hammock, watching a sail boat race or scanning the sky for eagles or osprey? How about a short walk to the lake paddling a sleek touring kayak? Or maybe you would like to fish, perhaps catching your dinner? How about a cool dip in the lake? What about some alternatives to lake front activities: A walk in the woods? Chilling out on a pergola next to pond with a soothing waterfall? Or sipping a cold drink while basking in the shade in a Pauley Island hammock. Other opportunities include a drive through Amish Country, a trip to the Linesville Spillway, where "the ducks walk on the backs of fish", or day trips to the museums and sports venues in Cleveland or Pittsburgh. Close at hand is the very popular Lago Winery/Mortal Keys Brewery. Across Lake Pymatuning in Ohio are the wineries and covered bridges of Ashtabula County. Further afield, a trip to Niagara Falls makes for an exciting overnight trip. The Annex offers a variety of relaxing outdoors related opportunities...
Because of hazards posed by the lake front, a deep ornamental pond, a free running stream, and a large open woods The Annex is unsuitable for children under the age of six years.

Échanges avec les voyageurs
There are numerous outdoors related activities available to Annex guests.
Helen and Dean are readily available to provide information on how to best take advantage of these opportunities. Avid gardeners and outdoors enthusiasts, Helen and Dean can usually be found working or relaxing outside their home, which is adjacent to The Annex. An award winning wood carver, Dean enjoys displaying his work at an outdoor work station near the Annex. Around an evening camp fire Helen and Dean like to share stories about their on going work with slum children in India. Proceeds from the rental of The Annex go to support this work. Having traveled extensively, the Oyens are raconteurs when relating to guests tales about their travels to the far corners of the globe.
The Annex is very much a "get away from it all" kind of place. We strongly encourage guests to make use of the gardens and park like setting in which The Annex is located. We discourage the intrusion of modern telecommunication on vacation time here at the lake. Accordingly, although we do offer WIFI and TV service on a limited basis and we encourage guests to leave their smart phones home/turned off for the duration of their stay. Moreover, cell phone reception in our area is very sketchy.
