Wonderful hosts! The breakfast and the accommodations were superb, the inn had a great view of the bay (not to mention the dock over the water) and the location was a perfect jumping off point for everything in the Leelanau/Traverse City area. I would highly recommend the Innisfaire to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Let me first say that Marie and Ted were very cool people! They took really good care of us and were very accommodating! In the morning we had some great conversation over a great cup of macadamia nut coffee and some fantastic quiche. Secondly, their property was beautiful! Very well kept, clean, cozy, and a great view of the bay. We will definitely be back! Thanks again guys!

We were in town for a wedding and had a wonderful stay! Marie and Ted were great hosts. They gave us many suggestions for other activities around the area. The breakfasts with the other guests were lots of fun!

Ted and Marie provided a wonderful vacation for us in their home. Plenty to eat and lots to do. We were particularly pleasantly surprised by the private beach area on Grand Traverse Bay

The house is a beautiful place inside and out, a few steps from the beach. It's prettier than the pictures let on! The room we stayed it was very spacious and comfortable. Ted and Marie were awesome hosts and breakfast was delicious. We had a wonderful experience!

I am a social worker turned family law attorney. My husband, Ted, is a retired plastics engineer and builder. He built much of our house, which is now way too big for us, as our two daughters are grown. One daughter lives in Berkley, Michigan. The other daughter lives in Chicago, Illinois. We are originally from the Detroit area, but we went to high school in Traverse City. We love living in Traverse City!

Ted and I went to the same high school in Traverse City, and then followed each other to various colleges, before we finally started dating each other, 30 years later. I am a MSU Alum. Ted graduated from CMU.

My older daughter went to the University of Michigan and Wayne State University. My younger daughter attended Michigan State University, Loyola University, and the Adler Institute of Psychology. In short, we cheer for both U of M and MSU!
