Dear guests, our spacious, well maintained and tastefully furnished attic is in a calm, central located villa from 1926.
It is ideal to accomodate small families and groups with up to 3 persons as well as couples and solo travellers.

The house is located in a calm side street. Sights, restaurants and shops can be reached quickly by foot and public transport.

The house and the attic represent a modern standard combined with the charm of a historic building.

The attic has 50 sqm and offers lots of space. It's suitable for up to 3 persons. It is tastefully and completely furnished.

Towels and linen are included.
Parking permits can be booked optionally at 3 € per car and night. The permits can be paid cash on arrival.

The attic is on the 3rd floor.
From the large windows you have a great view and a lot of daylight.

The large open space room is separated in a sleeping and living area with kitchen. For sleeping it has a queensize bed (sleeps 2 persons) and a single bed.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-supply (oven, microwave, cooker, fridge, coffee machine, dishes).
The bathroom has a bathtub for bathing/showering and a toilet (no washing machine).

We provide Cable tv, DVDs and books as well as internet access (wifi) for your entertainment.

We are living in the same house and will try to help you with any question.

Our neighborhood is called "Heidelberg Weststadt". You can reach the old town quickly by foot or public transport.
Many houses in the area are art nouveau and art déco style (like our house).

We are in a central and calm location. In the close surrounding there are restaurants, cafés, bakers, super markets, pharmacy, doctors and a gas station.
Sights can be reached quickly by foot and public transport. The adjoining woodland can be reached in a view minutes.

The stop for local trains, trams and busses is close to our location.

We are only one stop away from Heidelberg main station and old town.

We have an additional attic with 50 sqm for up to 4 persons and an apartment with 80 sqm for up to 5 persons available for rent.

On arrival we have a brochure for you with detailed information about the apartments, the surrounding area and public transport.

With your booking you will receive a contract including all important things and rules:

§ 1 Rental object and keys
(1) The advertiser lets one or several apartment(s) in the following property (rental object) to the tenant:
Steigerweg 8, 69115 Heidelberg, Germany
The house rules provided in the property are valid.
The rental property is a non-smoking property.
(2) The rental property is fully equipped and furnished.
Towels and linen are included.
(3) The tenant is entitled to use the washing machine (only provided in apartment 2 and 3).
(4) The tenant receives one house key and one apartment key for the duration of the rental period.

§ 2 Rental period, Arrival and Departure
(1) The rental property is let to the tenant during the agreed rental period.
(2) The arrival time on the arrival day is not before 3 p.m. (if not agreed differently).
(3) The checkout time on the day of departure is at 11 a.m. (if not agreed differently).

§ 3 Rental price and payment methods

(2) The advertiser does not charge extra for the final clean-up.
Exceptions can be made, if the tenant does not comply with the house rules for departure. In such a case the extra effort and cost compared to a standard cleaning will be passed to the tenant.

§ 4 Cancellation and early termination

§ 5 Liability and Responsibilities of the Tenant
(1) The rental property incl. the furniture and the other contents are to be treated with care. The tenant is held responsible for the actions of other people within the house. The tenant is liable for all damaged goods, damage to the property or anything else related to the property, whether caused by themselves or their accompanying guests.
(2) Faults that are found before or during the rental period are to be reported to the advertiser immediately.
(3) Before departure the tenant is responsible to collect all personal belongings, empty the refrigerator, lock all windows, turn off the heating, put the keys on the kitchen table and leave the apartment clean swept.
(4) Animals are not allowed.
(5) House rules: the tenant agrees to follow the house rules. These are provided in the property

§ 6 Contract wording and clause
(1) Changes and alterations of this contract need to be in writing.
(2) If some of the legal requirements of this contract are inoperative or impractical, or become so after completion of the contract, the effectiveness of this contract will not be affected. At the point of inoperative or impractical legal requirements the individual should reach an agreement that comes as close as possible to the economic goals that the parties of the contract tried to achieve.
(3) This contract relates to the law of Germany.

Wir haben schon einige Wohnungen über Airbnb bewohnen dürfen, aber dieses Appartement (Wohnung Nr. 4) von Marco war wirklich eine der geschmackvollsten Wohnungen. Da die Parkplatzsituation in der Weststadt eher schlecht ist, hat Marco uns Parkplatzausweise besorgt, ohne die hätten wir ein echtes Problem gehabt. Was wir ebenfalls sehr gut befunden haben: im Vorfeld haben wir eine absolut detaillierte Auskunft über Heidelberg erhalten, wie z.B. Restaurants, Busverbindungen, Supermärkte, Apotheken, Sehenswürdigen. Auch eine umfangreiche Hausordnung regelte die Anreise/Abreise und den Aufenthalt im Heidel-Home Studio. Die Wohnung war blitzeblank und sehr gut ausgestattet, es wurde sogar auf Kleinigkeiten geachtet wie z.B. Eierbecher, Brotkörbchen und genügend Kochgeschirr, was in der Vergangenheit bei anderen Wohnungen nicht immer der Fall war.

Marco ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber, der Ablauf war super reibungslos. Die nette Dachgeschosswohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und gut gelegen. Ich habe gerne dort übernachtet.

Excellent appartment, very well located. Restaurants, pharmacy, gas station at close proximity. Definitively the place to stay when visiting Heidelberg. We will certainly come back to heidel-home!

Everything was set out ahead of time for entry into the unit and instructions on using the amenities of the unit. It is a bit of a hassle for parking but I would suppose that depends on the time of day . The neighborhood was fine -no problems in feeling safe to walk around. We were not there long enough to comment on any of the other attributes of the area. For those not driving the transportation was only about 100 yards from the house which is a plus. The host was very understanding when we had to leave early with no problems.
