Cherry Lane Retreat is situated within the grounds of a private home in the heart of the Constantia Winelands. Cherry Lane offers a 4 bedroomed self contained home offering privacy, security, peace & quiet in a charming garden setting.
Our rates are negotiable and determined by the number of guests, and the duration of the stay and the time of the year, i.e. Christmas & Easter our rates will increase. We can accept between 2 guests and 7 guests maximum.

Our guests have access to the whole house, it is yours for the entire stay, you do not share with another family and you have sole access to the pool.

We are there to assist our guests as much as possible, we do work so are not around too much during the day, but we live on the property and leave it up to our guests to interact when they feel like it.
Enjoy the peace and quiet, to be able to walk out our gate and be within the nearby vineyards within 15 minutes. We are close to amenities like excellent shopping centres and wonderful restaurants. Horse riding, golf, gym, walking, hiking in the vicinity.
There are taxis on call and train service within a 5-10 minute drive to transport you down the coast to Simonstown or in the other direction to Cape Town main station. Car hire always available.
We have 3 rescued dogs and Eunice our houskeeper is always on hand to assist where necessary, for weekly stays or more the cleaning of the house ONCE a week is included in the rent, should you require Eunice more than once a week the cost for 3hours is R250. WiFi available.
We prefer no smoking, outdoors if absolutely necessary and respect for our neighbours as far as noise and returning in the early hours of the morning is concerned.

Married to Gary originally from Birmingham, 2 grown up sons Philip & Christopher 22 & 19. Work for Animal Rescue Organisation, charity that assists domestic animals and their owners in poorer communities around Cape Town. I was born in Uganda, brought up in Kenya, been living in Cape Town for 30 years. Love meeting people, love gardening, animals, walking and travel. Favourite destinations - anywhere in Africa, Turkey, UK, Greece. Love autobiography's, National Geographic, thrillers. Love theatre, musicals and art nouveau movies, any music from Pink Floyd to Fleetwood Mac (all the good 70's sounds!!!) Love cooking especially puddings. Have run a B&B for 13 years, now a self catering cottage, love it when visitors come to Cape Town for the first time and hopefully are pleasantly surprised, like to ensure they leave with amazing memories of one of the worlds must beautiful cities and cant wait to return.
