If you’re looking for a peaceful Outer Banks vacation home – Olive The Beach is it! This spacious home has plenty of room for your family as well as your canine companion and boasts 6 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, and 2 half baths in the Chicahauk Community of Southern Shores. Featuring a private pool*, separate kiddie pool, bubbly hot tub, game room, and more - you’ll love the blend of modern amenities and peaceful surroundings that make Olive The Beach the perfect vacation destination. Conveniently, this soundside home is actually closer than many oceanside homes in Southern Shores! The closest beach access is just 0.2 miles (a 4-minute walk) away!
Peace and relaxation begin outdoors. Swim a few laps in your 16’x32’ private pool and then wind down the bubbly hot tub. Nearby, you’ll find a separate kiddie pool for the little ones in the family! When you’re done splashing in the pool, rinse off in the convenient outdoor shower. Inside, you’ll love the game room which has plenty of comfy seating around the flat-screen TV along with an air hockey table to get a little family-friendly competition rolling! On the ground level, you will also find a Queen master bedroom with a full bath, as well as a half bathroom off of the game room.
The main entry with a covered porch and foyer is on the second level. Get a good night’s rest in one of four bedrooms located on this floor, including a King master bedroom with its own private bathroom. Down the hall you will find a bedroom with two twin beds and a full bed. A bedroom with a pyramid bunk bed is perfect for the kids and is located beside the twin bedroom. The last bedroom on this floor has a Queen bed and guests that sleep in this room can also enjoy the deck access. A full bathroom and laundry area can also be found on this floor. Step outside and enjoy some family time on the covered deck with a cozy lounge area.
Upstairs, the heart of this home is the bright and cheery great room with vaulted ceilings. There are plenty of comfortable furnishings including two oversized chairs and a spacious l-shaped couch all centered around a gas fireplace and a flat-screen TV—perfect for watching your favorite movie or TV show if the weather keeps you inside. The fifth and final bedroom is located just down the hallway on this floor—a King Master with its own private bathroom. Head back to the living area and step outside onto the sun deck and soak in the ocean breeze. You’ll also find two gas grills located on the deck – perfect for grilling up your catch of the day! Back inside, the well-appointed kitchen features stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked with everything you need to whip up a culinary delight. When it’s time to eat, there's plenty of seating for your group at the table in the dining area. If you need extra seating, there are three additional contemporary bar stools at the nearby kitchen island. Also located on this top level is a captain’s watch with a small table - perfect for a family-friendly card or board game, and a convenient half bath.

Olive the Beach is located in the desirable Chicahauk neighborhood in Southern Shores located off of Hwy. 12 meaning you’re just a short distance from the ocean and minutes away from fun, local activities. The Southern Shores Civic Association features a host of community amenities including a community playground, tennis courts, basketball court, and a soccer field. For lunch, order a slice of your favorite pizza from Southern Shores Pizza and Deli (they will deliver to your Southern Shores home for free!). If you feel like venturing out for an upscale dinner, Steamers Restaurant is right down the road offering delectable dishes featuring locally-sourced seafood. For a day of shopping, head north a few miles to the Waterfront Shops in Duck where you can browse local boutiques and stroll along the Currituck Sound. Have a golf lover in your group? Sea Scape Golf Links is right down the road and is the perfect place to spend the afternoon. For an educational experience that is fun for the whole family, head South to Kill Devil Hills and stop by the Wright Brothers National Memorial where you’ll learn about North Carolina’s aviation history.
