Internally, a modern refurbished gem that is airy, bright and equipped with everything for your stay in Dublin's fair city. Externally, a Victorian artisan house in a friendly safe neighbourhood built for Guinness Brewery workers way back in 1894!

From the outside, this is a typical Victorian artisan house originally built for Guinness Brewery workers back in 1894. Inside, you'll find a thoroughly modern refurbished gem that is airy, bright and equipped with everything you’ll need for your stay in Dublin’s fair city. This corner house, in a quiet cul-de-sac, is pure Dublin. From the foot-scraper outside (traditionally for wiping horse mess off your shoes!) to the cosy neighbourhood feel (the area has won several Dublin corporation awards for best kept region and houses) it’s the perfect base for your stay in Dublin. The house features two double rooms with double beds and is as family-friendly as they come.

If you’re visiting with kids, you probably won’t need to bring a whole lot as we’ll have you covered! We have a travel cot, a push buggy and a car safety seat for a toddler. so you'll avoid that airport nightmare :) We can provide baby seats (high chairs and booster), toys and first aid kits.

We don’t want it to just be where you stay when you’re in Dublin, we want it to be your home when you’re in Dublin!

Guests will have the full use of the house, which includes a spacious living room, two double bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and back yard for bikes.

We’ll provide everything you need to make your stay stress free, including:

City maps, hop on hop off (city tour info), Linen provided , Towels provided, WIFI - fast unlimited Internet, Hair dryer, Kitchen, Clothes washer Cooker, Conventional oven, Fridge/freezer USA and Europe electric plug
adaptors provided x 2. Coffee, tea, sugar, milk provided. Toys and aforementioned children’s equipment, and even some wine & cheese.

If you’re still planning your trip to Dublin, feel free to contact us by email for tips on the best places to visit, eat and drink! We've had many visitors from the US, Australia, UK and Europe so we can help plan your itinerary to ensure you get the most from your visit in Ireland’s capital city, no matter how long your stay.

This cosmopolitan neighbourhood is perfect if you want to be within minutes of the best that Dublin has to offer, but without the noise and hustle and bustle.

It's the archetypal Dublin red brick terrace that is very central and alive with city living.

Phoenix Park – the largest in-city park in the world – is literally on your doorstep, and is also home to Dublin Zoo. Dublin’s biggest tourist attraction – the Guinness Storehouse – is a few minutes walk, as well as other big names such as the Jameson Distillery, the Irish Museum of Modern Art and the Four Courts.

Our house is 10 minutes walk from Heuston Station (Trains to the west of Ireland and Airlink buses for Dublin Airport) various buses that stop on Parkgate Street and a Luas Line. The buses and the LUAS city tram can bring you directly to the city centre in approximately 20 mins.

There is a very close bus stop right across from the house on Infirmary Road for the 46A bus route.

Walking to the city centre (O’Connell Bridge) takes 30 minutes, where you’ll pass several landmarks you won’t want to miss during your stay. Collins Barracks, Jameson Distillery, James Joyce Museum and the Spire.

Temple Bar, famous for it’s nightlife, is again about 30 minutes walk, along the Liffey and crossing the famous Ha'penny Bridge.

We have so many kids things, (which I'm sure you'd prefer not to pack along with your precious human cargo) to list on this page so please email me if have specific questions.

I'm James and this is our family house. I'm married to Megan and we've lived here since 2004. We toiled for 9 months to completely reinvent the house and over 10 years and 2 daughters later we still love our little home. Our family has thrived here in this truly unique award winning neighbourhood (where else do you know of that has summer street parties and Christmas carol gatherings?).

Megan is a Musician and Music Teacher. I'm an Artist/Designer/Director/Research Manager. We recently moved to beautiful Idaho near Megan's family for a new adventure. We love Dublin and we hope to return some day. If you stay in this house we hope you'll see why. In the mean time you can have an authentic Dublin experience and we are happy to give you a slice of local knowledge about the top city spots.
Best Regards,
