You will be checked in and out by our Caretaker, Susanna, who will meet you at the property at a pre-arranged time.

All quality bed and bath linen is provided. Please bring your own beach towels.

Any keys/remotes not returned will be deducted from the security bond at $10 per normal key and $80 per remote control.

The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.

To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.

6-8 guests maximum occupancy - no exceptions.

Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in loss of your bond and/or additional payments.

Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay.

Glass is strictly prohibited in the pool enclosure. If glass is found in the pool it requires the whole pool to be drained, thoroughly cleaned and refilled.

The following are not permitted on the property:

JET SKIS
TRAILERS
PETS

Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. All food and rubbish including empty containers and bottles must be removed from the property. All utensils or appliances that have been used must be left in a relatively clean state; this includes the BBQ. Dirty plates must be cleaned. The apartment as a whole must be left in a relatively tidy state. This does not include the need to make beds, fold towels, vacuum or mop the floor (unless the floor is in a particularly untidy state). If the preceding is not achieved a minimum extra cleaning surcharge of $100 will apply.

Check-out time is 10.00 am, to allow time to prepare the property for the next guests.

Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of bond.

Please, no smoking in the beach house.

Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant's personal property.

Should a tenant require duplicate keys after hours a $50 service fee will be charged by the managing agent. If no spare key is available tenants may be liable for any costs involved in gaining entry to the premises.

Boats and boat trailers are unable to be parked within the One Mile Ridge grounds.

Glenyss' place has a truly spectacular view from the main living space. The house is lovely and has all you need. The shared pool kept the kids happy and it was only a short walk to a beautiful beach. Can't recommend it enough.

My friends and I absolutely loved our time at the One Mile Retreat. The house was clean, cosy and modern and the view from both upstairs and downstairs was beautiful! The shared pool/spa was also a great bonus which we really enjoyed. Moreover, high quality bed/bath linen and kitchen and household appliances were provided, allowing us to have a very comfortable stay. Also, both Glenyss and Susanna were very accommodating and easy to contact before and during our stay. We definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for accommodation in Boat Harbour!

Beautiful Home with a fantastic view! Just down a bush track to perfect One Mile Beach. The host touched base with us before our stay to ensure we had everything we needed and responded to our requests while we were there. Stunning and relaxing, would definitely recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The magnificent view made being there special even when we were in the house. We went out for walks every day and had a beautiful different place to walk to each time. We saw whales each time we went to the points and on the last day one really performed for us, waving its big fin at us, then breaching! The listing advertised a spa and pool. These were not at the house, but in the same complex. Also, the spa was hot but the jets wouldn't work.

I am originally from Sydney. My husband, Willem, and I and our 2 children, Alex and Zac, now teenagers, spent a lot of time at our Boat Harbour apartment in Port Stephens when the kids were growing up and we have many fond memories of the area.
We now live on the Gold Coast, Queensland, on wildlife protected acreage and we are currently involved in bushland regeneration on our property. The beach is part of our life most weekends and our 2 labradors also love it.
We love travelling to Colorado and Antwerp, Belgium to visit family. Skiing and hiking and adventure sports are my preferred types of holiday. And I love great food and finding great restaurants is fun.
As a host, I strive to provide beautifully furnished and well equipped properties in beautiful surroundings and with stunning views within easy access to the beach.
As a guest, I am often busy experiencing what the area has to offer so I am more often than not out and about. I do enjoy meeting others and learning about their lifestyles and experiences.
