Private deck and secure covered carport parking. The main bedroom has a queen bed, kitchenette, and the bathroom. The entrance room has a single bed/sitting spot, TV with a privacy blind between the two rooms. The bathroom is small, especially the shower, but larger that a RV bathroom.
Accès des voyageurs
You will be given a key and a showing of the Tree House upon arrival. You will just need to leave the key on the table when you depart. There are 34 stairs to climb which are well lighted with motion sensors at night. The way to the beach is along Avila Beach Dr. which can be busy especially during the summer. Relax on your private deck under the Live Oaks.

You will be in an area of the hill and trees that is secluded from direct host interaction and nestled in between a private triplex apartment above and a duplex below which helps block much of the afternoon traffic noise from the road below during the busy summer season which is not a problem the rest of the year. Avila "rolls up its sidewalks" when school starts until the next summer! We can help with tours and suggestions of local activities.
Rent kayak/paddle board at the third pier along with zodiac and sailing tours of the Bay which include whale watching. Visit Port San Luis Lighthouse, especially by kayak, and take advantage of what our neat beach town has to offer plus maybe a round of golf and watch the abundant seals and sea lions up close and personable at the Port San Luis pier, walk the Bob Jones Trail and along the long beach front. This is an official SLO County vacation rental and the Transient Occupancy & Tourist Bureau Taxes (12%) are included in the price so as to not shock you when you get the bill later.
Please, absolutely no smoking or pets or any kind. This is a secluded getaway for relaxing in the woods and a base for exploring at our beautiful small beach town and surroundings.

John is a life long farmer whose family has been continuously farming in California since 1850. He grew pears, apples, asparagus and tomatoes (among other crops) throughout California for 35 years and vine ripe tomatoes in Mexico for 3 years. He has been in the sustainable/organic vineyard, winery and tasting room business (Salisbury Vineyards) for the last 18 years in San Luis Obispo County and can point you in right direction for local wine tasting and other great interesting sites.
