This light and bright non-smoking condo has been remodeled from head to toe! Conveniently located in town close to shopping, restaurants and the shuttle to the mountain. This main floor unit sleeps 4 comfortably however a 5th person can squeeze in, there is a queen bed, 1 roll out & the couch converts to 2 twin beds. I have tried to make this unit different than the other rentals you may find in Mammoth. I have put a contemporary spin on the unit remodel! I hope you love it!

When I purchased this unit in early 2015 it had not been touched since the late 70's. When I did the remodel I tried to make it a bit different than the normal Mammoth Lakes Rental. I put personal touches in the unit that you would see in my own home here in Long Beach. I wanted to make it a functional place to stay yet visually pleasing and a bit contemporary, I do hope you like it and want to come back again!
I feel that the property offers tremendous bang for your buck but with the good comes a bit of negative. I like my guests to be very happy and book knowing everything about the property. The biggest drawback I can find when I stay there personally is due to the age of the building you can hear the upstairs neighbors walking around sometimes. I know you cannot find another unit that offers the upgrades and space as my unit however I like to be transparent on my properties so that I do not get a negative review about something I cannot control. As a side not the entire complex is starting to go through an exterior renovation in late 16 early 17 so it will look fresh and contemporary! That being said I do think you will love the space, area and convenience to everything in town and I do hope you consider staying at my home.

The entire home is yours to use. The storage closet in the kitchen is locked however as it contains supplies for future guests. The keys to the Pool, Hot Tub and Sauna are inside the front door. There are also laundry facilities steps away.

In Mammoth Lakes everything is easy to get to via bike or public transportation. This unit is steps away from the red line bus that takes you to the mountain.

Condo had a great location. Nice inside, but it would be very difficult to fit 5. Dishes and everything was provided, but there were not many extra blankets.

Thank you for your review Danielle. To future potential guests reading this the max number of people for the unit is 4 so I would agree with Danielle that fitting 5 would be difficult. =)

Nice cozy place. Condo gets heated pretty well, just make sure you put heaters on right when you get there. Great location and Shawn is very attentive and helpful.

Its a convenient location in town. Really close to everything so you can walk to the shops and the bus stops. We had a car and there was heaps of easy parking. We had two boys under 11 so they slept on the two single beds in the lounge and we had the other room with the Queen bed. You can pump the heaters and quickly make it warm and there is a fireplace that works if you want to make it really warm. Kitchen all worked well the only hiccup we had was if we had both the heaters on and used the microwave at the same time it tripped the Fuse switch. Otherwise all the appliances worked no probs. Pretty good value for your money. We would stay there again if we were skiing Mammoth.

Place is a lower cost solution at an excellent location. The pros are: - excellent location (close to bus stop, ski rental place, restaurants,... - all in walking distance) The cons: - the two provided heaters took a long time to get the place to a reasonable temp. - bathroom has no heater - and it is chilly (sign from owner states, that faucet has to be left on to prevent pipe freezing) - bed is uncomfortable (think a previous review stated it to be too soft, could be just worn out) - bedind for the two couches was insufficient. -

Thank you for your review. Regarding the heating, the primary source of heat in the unit like many in Mammoth is the wood stove which heats the unit up very quickly. The additional 2 heaters are there to keep the home at a somewhat comfortable temperature until a guest gets the fire going in the wood stove. Regarding the water drip due to pipes freezing this is just a message in my welcome email as a precaution to prevent pipes from freezing when temperatures are sub zero as pipes can sometimes do that in the heart of winter in Mammoth Lakes. The place was just what we hoped for and perfect for our family to come back to after a long day on the slopes. The place was perfect in every way and best of all, conveniently located and best of all just steps from the "Latino Market" where you can walk in and buy some awesome fresh super delicious mexican food for just a couple dollars. a great feature in an overpriced ski town!

I am an avid Snowboarder, Hiker, Mountain Biker, Kayaker and all around Nature lover. I love being outdoors and trying anything new that Mammoth Lakes has to offer! I purchased this unit in early 2015 as a place for myself and my family to use. I remodeled it from head to toe but tried to make it a bit more contemporary versus the usual Mtn. cabin look. I hope you enjoy staying at my home.
