Le logement

This is a working farm with a vineyard, apple orchard, raspberries, and a large green garden.
The house is located on the old mission peninsula. There are wonderful restaurants and wineries within minutes and town is a short 7 mile jaunt away. The house is quite modern downstairs with eames furniture and other retro touches all open spaces with views in every direction. The bedroom retains the old farmhouse feel with oak trim and antique furnishings.
Your bedroom has a king seize bed and is very large. It overlooks a wonderful field and farmhouse. You have your private bathroom, just across the hall. The house is air-conditioned. We can't accommodate children + pets, and we don't allow smoking in the house.

Beautiful home right along the path of the wineries in Traverse City. Nice to be a little out of the city in a more scenic area but just a short 10 minute drive to downtown. Irene and her husband were very sweet letting us know good places to check out and helped with anything we needed!

We were in TC for my sister's wedding and wanted a beautiful, quiet place outside of the downtown area. Irene and Lou's space was absolutely fabulous! We thoroughly enjoyed having blackberries and raspberries with our morning granola, yummy coffee from the kitchen and the generous hospitality of the farm owners. (URL HIDDEN) top it all (URL HIDDEN) partner proposed to me on Sunday after we left, while on the Old Mission Peninsula! Fabulous weekend and fabulous stay. THANK YOU!

Our stay at Irene and Lou's was great, and they were wonderful hosts. We enjoyed relaxing, exploring their farm, and picking apples and raspberries. The sunrise view on the property overlooking the vineyards was phenomenal. The location can't be beat, being close to many great wineries and not too far from Traverse City. We'd highly recommend staying here, and we certainly would again in the future.

Irene was a great host. She was always available to answer any questions we had and to offer suggestions of things to do on the peninsula. The location was just what we were looking for with lots of vineyards and fresh produce all around. We enjoyed picking the fresh berries and apples that Irene and Lou offered!

Lou and Irene were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. Their property is beautiful and the location cannot be beat for those wishing to explore all that Old Mission Peninsula has to offer. Irene was very quick to response to any inquiries we had before our arrival and even accommodated a late check in so we could enjoy Traverse City on our way to the peninsula. Would highly recommend this airbnb and look forward to staying again in the future.

This place is spectacular, very relaxing, and Irene and her husband are excellent hosts. The only thing I wish I would've known about was road noise, as I am a very light sleeper, and it started early in the morning due to the harvest season. But if that doesn't bother you, you won't find a better place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay with Louis and Irene. They are lovely, generous hosts with a beautiful home. Loved the combination of old farmhouse with modern furniture. Our only regret was not scheduling more time to just sit out on the porch and relax. We enjoyed picking and eating raspberries, blackberries and apples from right outside their door! Great location on the gorgeous peninsula, with a short drive to downtown Traverse City.

My husband and I live on our working farm 7 months in Michigan, and we live 5 months in Washington DC. I am from the Netherlands and we both have traveled and worked abroad. We have stayed in many airbnbs and know what it takes to make people feel comfortable and welcome.
We are a laid back couple and want you to be able to relax and enjoy all the beauty that surrounds us here on the Peninsula. You have the opportunity to pick raspberries, apples, or vegetables when in season.

We cannot accommodate pets or children.
