À propos de ce logement

Beautiful, spacious, 4 Star, 1st floor, self-catering holiday apartment, right on the seafront at Exmouth in Devon. The panoramic sea view from our large bay windows & balcony is stunning with sunsets to die for! We've a similar 2nd floor one too.

Channel View is on Exmouth seafront, between The Bath House public house and The Pavilion Theatre. There is a cafe on the ground floor which is now called Aby's (they are lovely in there!). If you're coming from the A376 or the train station (10 minute walk) you follow signs to the seafront then turn left. If from the B3178, turn right onto the seafront.

There is a parking space for one car in adjacent private car park - immediately to the right of the building, before the public gardens - these gardens now have an outdoor gym!

The door is at the back. A short flight of steps brings you from the carpark to Madeira Walk, a leafy footpath that runs along most of the length of the seafront. Turn left onto this, and there is another short flight up to the shared roof terrace. The door is on the right.

The key safe is to the right of the door. We will email you the code for this. You simply pull down the shutter, turn the dials to the code, pull the release lever to open the safe and remove the key. Please remember to shut and rescramble the numbers.

The second key opens a lobby area by Flat 4. In that area are books, games and some tourist information leaflets.

There's an information folder in the flat as well which we hope has everything you'll need.

Autres remarques

Short breaks are available November-March, excluding school holidays. These are £260 for the minimum 3-night stay, then £60 thereafter or the weekly tariff, whichever is cheaper. If you are trying to book and the site gives a different tariff to this, I will adjust it with the special offer function.

April to October are available in 7-day blocks, with Saturday changeover (Except Christmas 2016 when the changeover day will be Friday). However, in quiet times this is negotiable so do get in touch.

The place was simply beutiful right front of a sandy beach. Whatever season this place is worth being in. And Dawn and his sister are the kindest hosts I have came across. Nice restaurant at the groudfloor and just crossing the road there is a sandy beach nothing more one can ask for.

Really enjoyed our stay at Channel View. Fantastic view across the Bay particularly at Sunset. Flat was great, just as described, very easy to find and Dawn was very helpful when booking . The flat was very spacious and could easily accommodate many more than just the two of us. Despite only living along the coast we had never visited Exmouth before but we were very impressed and will look to come back in summer. We hired bikes and cycled up the Exe trail to Exeter which was a great day out.

Myself and my sister Karen look after two seafront holiday apartments for our parents - we're called Channel View Holidays. My parents had been managing them for 30-odd years before that and some of our regulars have been coming every year for almost as long! Karen and I have both moved around a bit, but ended up back in Exmouth with our families - it's just nice here: beautiful seafront and estuary, and easy to get to some amazing countryside and nearby Exeter is a great city. One of the most satisfying things about managing the holiday flats is the feedback - from the people who come year on year, sometimes several times a year and who love Exmouth almost as much as we do, and from people new to us, discovering Exmouth for the first time, loving our flats and their fabulous views, and who very often book to come back!
