I had a great stay, comfortable and quiet I would highly recommend to others.

Perfect house for a family getaway. House has a stunning view of the lake. Vincent was very helpful and made us feel right at home with some lovely touches such as fresh scones, cream, milk & wine. I would highly recommend for a quiet weekend away.

We were recommended Elizabeth’s home and we’re not disappointed. We had a couple of changes and she was more than accommodating. Would recommend her house without hesitation.

The house has everything you need. Well equipped kitchen and showers in every bedroom. Plenty of outdoor space with plenty of parking. 4 good sized bedrooms. It's a 5 minute drive to the town but the restaurant across the road is very good. The town itself has everything you need. The owner was very helpful and always available if needed.

I enjoyed my stay here . The setting was lovely and as I was traveling alone this time I felt very safe and secure . Beautiful places to cycle and walk . Easy access to the canal for water sports . It was lovely being on a working farm and seeing the animal . I would highly recommend.

Communication was seamless, and the location is incredibly convenient yet peaceful. The space exceeded my expectations—it looks amazing in photos but is even better in person. I couldn’t be happier and will absolutely stay here again!

Our stay at Colum’s place - Brú Moytura - was absolutely magical! There are no words to describe how wonderful the weekend was there! It was the perfect place for a reunion with old friends (who had travelled from across Europe). Everyone was blown away by the place and the location. The sunset views over Sligo mountains were incredible as was sitting under the stars at the firepit. There are so many little nooks and cranny’s to explore inside and Colum has put so much thought into the space - the decor and attention to detail is next level. It was also a pleasure to meet Colum himself who came by to check us in - he had such a wealth of knowledge of the area and the mythology associated with it. He made us feel super welcome at Brú Moytora and gave us great tips for places to visit during our stay. I cannot sing high enough praises of this place and I will definitely be back again in the near future! ☺️ Thank you Colum for welcoming us into your wonderful architectural creation

Carmen & Robert's home is an absolute dream! If you're looking for a peaceful escape to the Irish country side that still has easy access to what Sligo town has to offer, look no further. Not only is the home picturesque with ducks and chickens roaming the property gardens that Robert tends, but the interior of the home is truly a home away from home: comfortable, cozy, and impeccably designed. Carmen and Robert are so kind and friendly. We truly felt so welcome and at home here. Ballymote is an adorable village with a grocery store and cafe, plus easy highway access to get into Sligo within 25 minutes and all the natural wonders of the northwest easily. 10/10 would stay again, thank you so much Carmen & Robert!
