The towns of Alnwick ( the castle having featured in the Harry Potter film) and Rothbury are also 20 min away and well worth a visit. Stunning beaches and miles of coastline are only 25 min away.The hosts are only to happy to provide advice and information.

Welcome to Lee View Set in a small rural hamlet of just a few houses, with stunning views as well as peace and quiet. We have tried to make the cottage a special place, and hope it will make a nice change of scene for our guests. Ideal for walkers and cyclists, as well as those wanting to visit the many historic sites and country houses in Northumberland. Lee View is just a 10 minute drive from Rothbury with a Co Op and a variety of other shops. We are 25 minutes from Morpeth and Alnwick.

The coast is about 30 minutes away, plenty of National trust buildings and interesting gardens within an hour including Alnwick Castle & gardens (Harry Potter/Downton Abbey film location), Cragside, Wallington etc Well and comfortably furnished. Wildhope View is a cosy, romantic retreat with spectacular views of the rolling hills of the Aln valley and the, “18 arches” viaduct built in 1849 by Robert Stephenson.

The Stable is one of 3 holiday cottages converted from the former farm buildings of Bog Mill Farm.
