Volcano
“It's really a memorable place to visit where you'll be hiking to the "La Fortuna" waterfall with 70 meters of height, that's inside the Arenal Volcano National Park. The "Fortuna" river falls to create a nice lagoon which you can enjoy once you descend around 500 steps to reach the magical spot. The schedule is from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, there's free parking, orchid gardens, bathrooms, showers, dressing rooms, lockers for rent, souvenir stores, a restaurant and several look out spots. The hike is a self-guided trail and there's also access for people with any kind of disability. They recommend wearing light clothings, water bottles, sunscreen, insect repellents, towels, another set of clothes, bathing suit, the camera or cellphone and always carry something sweet to eat for energy! You can always find more detailed info on the official webpage http://www.cataratalafortuna.com/”

“This museum houses the world’s largest collection of American jade (pronounced ‘ha-day’ in Spanish), with an ample exhibition space of five floors offering seven exhibits. There are nearly 7000 finely crafted, well-conserved pieces, from translucent jade carvings depicting fertility goddesses, shamans, frogs and snakes to incredible ceramics (some reflecting Maya influences), including a highly unusual ceramic head displaying a row of serrated teeth. The new museum cafe, Grano Verde, serves sandwiches, salads and smoothies.”

“Es un lugar increíble con las aguas color celeste que se forman con la unión de dos ríos que al combinarse los componentes químicos de uno y de otros el agua da una apariencia celeste. Hay una cascada que descarga en un lago celeste y senderos que nos llevan a través de la montaña, hasta esta cascada, a una laguna celeste y a los teñideros, que es el lugar en donde se juntan los dos ríos mencionados. ”
