At the beginning of this event, you will be welcomed by our host and receive a lesson. You can customize and make your very own unique necklace, charm or earrings with a large selection of frames, stickers, backgrounds and design sheets using scissors and tweezers. After you finish your artwork, a UV lamp hardens the resin and your unique accessory is complete.

Welcome to our Donkey experience. When you first arrive at our farm, we will go over a few safety rules we have in place to make your experience a safe and enjoyable one. Donkeys can be given treats over the fence and once this is done we will enter the paddock where you will be able to interact with them and brush and take photos. We are also available to answer any questions you might have. We will spend some time with the donkeys and then we will visit with the pot belly pigs and our very friendly goats. Treats will also be available to feed to them. Once again you are welcome to take photos. If the alpacas and miniature horses are near by you are welcome to visit them along with feeding treats. We also have a chicken coop where children can look for eggs and collect them. . Betsy is one of our ewes and she always love when people visit and will never say no to a treat or 2 or 3. . You just never know what surprise you might find on out farm that day!

Every menu is created the morning of the dining experience. Moreover for the curious of hearts, I would be cooking and baking dishes, giving you a true peek into the world of fine dining in top kitchens. With guided, professional instruction, you'll have a fun and creative time making an item out of clay on a pottery wheel. I will show you how to work with the clay, get it ready for the wheel, center it, and eventually start shaping. Usually students can make either a small bowl, plate, mug or vase on their first try. You will get up to 30 minutes of time on the wheel which is plenty to create one item, and then you can add accents to your piece i.e. handle and you'll get to handbuild for the remainder of the time (add accents to your piece). You can take the pottery home with you the same day you make them, or—if you'd like—I can fire your work, glaze it, and ship it to you for a small fee. The historical walking tour will cover footsteps of the first immigrants. Chinese immigrants settled at Dundas & Elizabeth streets; the Ward. This historic area was teeming with immigrants, and their cultures contributed to the multicultural fabric of Toronto. On our walk, we will explore those early sites, which are now populated by new waves of Asian influences, bringing innovative foods, and giving homage to the pioneers. We will walk on Dundas Street & explore the 2nd & 3rd wave immigrants along Spadina Ave/Kensington Market. This experience is for individuals, kids, or couples/dance partners, and we will relearn the art of Salsa or Bachata (your choice. or both!) in leading and following. We'll practice the basic steps with a fusion into casual social dance with a partner. You will learn about timing, rhythm, turn patterns, body waves, hand holds, and sensing your partner. We'll have fun and you'll learn to dance with confidence. This lesson is for EVERYONE - from beginners with little or no dance experience to experienced salsa/bachata dancers. The class will last 1 hour. The goal is to give the male leader new leading skills and to teach the female follower to be present in the moment. Our outdoor workshop takes place during a rejuvenating 4 hour nature hike on the trails of a 100,000 acre conservatory gem with flora ranging from old-growth forest to seasonal food plants. We will uncover new worlds of uncultivable, wild edible & medicinal plants in their natural forest state. We seek a multitude of delicious edibles (when in season) such as Yellow Chanterelles, Black Trumpet and Cinnabar Chanterelles, Hedgehogs, Boletes, Oysters and my personal favorite - Lobster Mushrooms. Growth is weather and seasonal dependent. You will learn to identify these and other seasonal edibles such as specific growth edible mushrooms, and will be introduced to spore printing. For edible and medicinal plants we will talk about identification, herbal actions , processes and recipes that will stock your natural medicine cabinet or infuse your foods with delicious flavors. In the spirit of respect for the bio-system we will explore, you will be introduced to ethical harvesting, long term sustainability and propagation for future generations.

Our Farm tour will include an interactive personal experience with goats, donkeys, chickens & friendly barn cats. When you arrive at the farm, parking is by the main gate & you will be met by Deborah or Brent, do introductions and go over rules for safety of both animals & humans. We will start off with the story of why/how we started the farm & how it has evolved over the years while you meet the chickens and our rooster Scooby Roo. We will talk about different breeds, many colours of eggs & check out the nesting box. Next its on to the goats. We have a total of 48 goats of different sizes , colours & different breeds. Each one has their own personality & are extremely friendly. If you are lucky we might have some baby goats that you can snuggle, as we breed fall thru spring with kids being born spring thru fall. Along the way you might run into Buddy, our escape goat that jumps the fence and thinks he is a dog. Onward to the little boy goats that are super friendly and will climb all over you giving you licks & hugs. After some fun and lots of selfies, we will head over to the donkeys and pet them thru the fence. They are very sweet, love their head pats, and are also our guardians of the farm. Our animals are excited to meet you!
