Merci encore.

  • C'est un super endroit. Crystal clean, check-in facile, assez d'informations près de l'endroit. Je recommande fortement la place de Fiona.

The Cotswolds are characterised by attractive small towns and villages, built of the underlying Cotswold stone (a yellow oolitic limestone). In the Middle Ages the wool trade made the Cotswolds prosperous and some of this money was put into the building of churches, leaving the area with a number of large handsome Cotswold stone "wool churches". The area remains affluent, which has encouraged the establishment of many high quality pubs, restaurants and antique shops.

Set above the River Isbourne, Winchcombe is arguably the hidden jewel in the Cotswolds crown. The town became prosperous from its Abbey (one of the largest Benedictine monasteries in England), its wool trade and as a producer of tobacco. Although the Abbey has gone there is still much to see of historic Winchcombe and the wealth of the town is reflected in many of the buildings, as well as in the surrounding countryside. No visit to Winchcombe would be complete without seeing four of the most prestigious historical sites in the area. Sudeley Castle (home of Queen Katherine Parr up to her death in 1548), Hailes Abbey (a Cistercian House founded in 1246 and owned by English Heritage), Stanway House (a Jacobean manor house with a world-famous fountain) and Belas Knap (a Neolithic long barrow dating from approximately 3800 BC) all offer a fascinating insight into the life of our ancestors. Known as the walking capital of the Cotswolds, Winchcombe sits at the intersection of the Cotswold Way, the Gloucestershire Way, the Wardens Way, the Windrush Way and the new Winchcombe Way. Alternatively, the GWR Steam Railway provides a fantastic fun day out for the family, running from Toddington through Winchcombe to Cheltenham Racecourse. Winchcombe has a mouthwatering selection of top quality restaurants, a wine bar, pubs, tea shops and a contemporary delicatessen/coffee shop. So whether you want a quick snack or a leisurely meal you'll be spoilt for choice. With a vibrant Music & Arts Festival in May/June, a Country Show in August and a Christmas Festival in December, Winchcombe also has a busy cultural calendar. Food & Drink Winchcombe is fortunate to be blessed with a variety of places to eat and drink, with the following being just a selection of the options available: Restaurant 5 North Street (www.5northstreetrestaurant.co.uk): A small family run Michelin starred restaurant. The cooking at North Street brings together the elements of traditional British cooking with the more sophisticated ingredients and techniques of classic French cuisine; Wesley House (www.wesleyhouse.co.uk): Set in a 15th century Merchant's House, Wesley House's restaurant has been awarded an AA two star rosette and has developed a reputation for excellent food, elegant surroundings and exemplary service. The vibrant Wine Bar & Grill offers a lively atmosphere, with an extensive cellar and delicious dishes in a relaxed setting; Wine and Sausage at The White Hart Inn (http://wineandsausage.whitehartwinchcombe.co.uk): The White Hart Inn is a charming 16th Century inn, with the Wine & Sausage Restaurant at its heart. Open daily for breakfast, morning coffee & cakes, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and bar snacks.

Welcome to my very special genuine Shepherds Hut situated in a beautiful hidden valley in the heart of the Cotswolds, off the beaten track but near to many local attractions, gardens and national trust properties. It is also perfectly situated for wonderful walks with a network of footpaths starting from right outside the door and local pubs only a few miles away. A truely cosy retreat in my peaceful private garden.
The hut has a double bed, thick duvet, pillows and wood burning stove to keep you toasty warm. Outside the hut in the garden you'll find a table and chairs. There is a private bathroom with shower, basin and toilet in a converted section of my garden shed close to the hut where there is also a fridge and a microwave for your use. A kettle and teas, coffees and milk are included in the hut. There is WiFi but it isn't always strong in the hut. You are able to use it in the garden on seats nearer the house.

Long Island Barn is oak framed with a large, light studio room, comprising a king size bed, sofabed, a travel cot and a day bed. Set in the garden of the owners home, it has beautiful views over the Cotswold countryside. Situated on the edge of the village with pubs nearby and a village shop within walking distance. There are plenty of footpaths for walks. The market towns of Stow, Winchcombe and the pretty village of Bourton-on-the-Water are within a short drive.
The space is light and airy with a balcony with wonderful views. Chairs and a table are there for you to enjoy the scenery from the balcony, perhaps with a glass of wine or alfresco dining! The shower in the bathroom has a large overhead showerhead with a separate attachment. The kingsize bed is very comfortable with a memory foam top. The kitchen is fully equipped. Cheltenham race course is a 20 minute drive away, for those who enjoy racing! Since the photographs have been taken we have added a day bed. This is 1.9m long and 1m wide so I deal to use as a single bed for all but the very biggest who may prefer the sofa bed. If there are 2 of you and you want to use separate beds please book as if there are 3 of you and let us know if you want to use the sofa bed or day bed.
The outstanding views and the village shop which has a tea room and garden

The Cotswolds are characterised by attractive small towns and villages, built of the underlying Cotswold stone (a yellow oolitic limestone). In the Middle Ages the wool trade made the Cotswolds prosperous and some of this money was put into the building of churches, leaving the area with a number of large handsome Cotswold stone "wool churches". The area remains affluent, which has encouraged the establishment of many high quality pubs, restaurants and antique shops.

Apple Tree Cottage is a charming Cotswold stone cottage, located right in the heart of Winchcombe with country pubs and shops just a stone's throw from the front door. Located on the most photographed street in the ancient Anglo-Saxon town of Winchcombe. Due to its location, the property is perfect for romantic getaways or a family break from the city. We provide complimentary welcome pack including milk, butter, bread, fresh flowers, biscuits plus our family's delicious Organic Gin+tonic!
Following a full yet sympathetic refurbishment in June 2016, the cottage has plenty of historic charm combined with country chic. Apple Tree Cottage contains 2 double bedrooms (1x kingsize & 1x standard), an upstairs shower room, a fitted kitchen with integrated appliances (inc microwave, dishwasher, washing machine etc) and a restyled, cosy sitting room with fully functioning open fireplace, plus wifi throughout the house and a Smart TV. The cottage is packed full of character features such as original beams and inglenook fireplace, with a relaxed, cosy country atmosphere. The property also boasts a substantial rear garden, which has sun throughout the day – ideal for lazy afternoons and evening barbecues. The substantial garden space really sets the property apart from its neighbours with one of the largest gardens in Vineyard Street, you can watch the local birds feeding from the boughs of both the apple trees, pick some herbs to accompany your supper or simply enjoy the rose garden. There is a large garden terrace, complete with sofas & chairs for summer lounging, plus a BBQ with complimentary charcoal supplied in the summer. In winter we provide logs and coal for the large, open, inglenook feature fire. Plus all our guests receive a complimentary welcome pack which includes essential such as milk, bread and butter plus a few extra cheeky treats! If we don't have dates available at Apple Tree Cottage, please have a look at our other cottage in Winchcombe which we've recently added to Airbnb: https://www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/26730485
Positioned in The Cotswold Way, the cottage is perfectly located for a country mini-break with friends or romantic getaway in the heart of the British countryside. Not only is Vineyard Street just a short walk from the variety of pubs, restaurants and antique shops in Winchcombe itself, but it is also a great base to explore the surrounding Cotswolds
  • INCROYABLE!

Your holiday home away from home and the perfect base to explore the area or just enjoy being part of the Cotswolds :) Full of character and charm, Honey Cottage is the perfect Cotswold retreat in the heart of the historical town of Winchcombe. Full of character such as exposed beams and stone walls throughout. There is also a lovely large, enclosed, private garden with views to the picturesque church. Both the kitchen and the double bedroom have views over the garden.
Honey Cottage is located on Gloucester Street, which is close to the local shops, restaurants and pubs and one of the oldest streets in Winchcombe. Winchcombe is an historic Cotswold town full of charm, tradition and even a castle! Situated on the Winchcombe Way there is lots of walking for those who love the outdoors. There is a tiled boot room with a boot sink by the back door – the perfect place for washing off muddy wellies. The cottage is full of period charm and features such as original beams, Cotswold stone walls (which have been lovingly restored by hand) and mullion windows to name but a few! The layout of the cottage is as follows: * Ground Floor * On the ground floor there is the sitting/dining room as you enter the property, which has a dining table to comfortably seat 4 guests – with a cute inbuilt windowseat which is a lovely place to watch the world go by. The kitchen was newly fitted in November 2017 and has built in washing machine and dishwasher, plus an electric cooker and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge. We also provide tea towels, oven gloves and utensils that you should need to cook for yourself. The kitchen leads into the boot room which has the backdoor into the garden, and through the boot room leads to the downstairs bathroom which is very modern and cleanly fitted with a bath and overhead shower. To the rear of the property is the large, enclosed garden, which is great for kids and dogs to explore, as well as a lovely place to enjoy the sunshine. *1st Floor * Upstairs, the traditional features continue with lots of exposed beams. The master bedroom has a very comfy Super King bed, plus a dressing table and traditional mullion window and fireplace. (Airbnb only has option for King not Super King, but the bed in the master bedroom is a Super King!) The second bedroom has a lovely view over the garden and has a double bed (was previously twin beds until November 2019)
Winchcombe is a delightful area, full of history and charm with wonderful buildings and surrounded by lovely rolling hills. Honey Cottage is a great base to explore the local walks and area, or a cosy bolthole to enjoy a quiet weekend in the Cotswolds
