Local landmark - a very old pub that is quirky. Atmospheric lighting and decoration. Standard out food but great ambience - must book if you want to eat there.

There are 2 restaurants at Portmeirion, both very good - Castell Deudraeth is the brasserie and so more reasonably priced with gastro pub style menu. The Hotel restaurant is fine dining with a matching price point and is very good. Both are perfect for special occasions and if you go for dinner at the hotel you can walk through the village at night when the tourists have gone which is always a lovely experience.

A special occasion sort of place. Fine dining, high price point but wonderful location to get really dressed up and celebrate! Any excuse will do!

Best in the Summer when you can sit out on the terrace and enjoy views of the coast and get plenty of sun. Usually very busty as is near several holiday parks.
