Beautiful for a swim, a surf, or just lazing around in the sun.
You'll never see such beauty in all your lives, and it's just an hour's drive outside of Sydney City. You can spend the day trekking in the Blue Mountains national park, or even spend the night and have a beautiful meal in the small town of Katoomba.

If you have access to a car, I would definitely recommend driving to this secret harbour beach. Only a local would know how to get here!

Camp Cove not only has one of the most beautiful beaches in Sydney, but it also has a massive park (perfect for picnics), and a walking trail to see where the ocean meets the Harbour.
I have witnessed everything from whale sightings, to hundreds of dolphins migrating into the harbour.
There's also some excellent seafood restaurants here.

This in my opinion is the perfect family beach. Very little waves or currents, a nice park area for BBQs or picnics, and just an overall pleasant vibe. There's also some great cafes and restaurants to try out.
