There are a couple of locations and this sounds perhaps high brow boring to some of you but it is not!!! Especially recommend the BIG Hair Ball ! Not to be missed..
They also are the starting point for the Palm Springs Walk of the Inns. This event takes place in December and is Uber Cool! You get to tour all these unique inns that have mega style and some with iconic celebrity history.

In the gallery store, you can get some souvenirs that are not too expensive if the larger art is out of your price range. Must see! Often has events with free retro cocktails when he releases a new piece .

This is a great way to get to the San Jacinto National Park and also go through 5 different climates on your way up. You can hike for miles or just some short jaunts. Worth doing. Locals buy annual passes.
