Beautiful building - somewhat trendy but recommended for a Wed or Fri evening when there is a proper aperitivo buffet that you can basically call your dinner, and great for people watching.

Good bruschetta (although they use passata instead of fresh tomatoes) - good cheap spritzes - you go there almost more for the basement effect than anything else.

A vegan restaurant in Italy? What! Delicious, creative food, and a fun, welcoming, 'cruelty-free' atmosphere. Try one of the suggestively though probably innocently named 'veghina's (vegan piadinas).

Barely visible from the outside - opera music gently crackling on the speakers, candles, handwritten menu which changes with the availability of fresh ingredients. Best meal in Padua I've had so far.
