The old fashioned diner experience lives! Check this out but get there before 11am on weekends; in true diner fashion it is small and gets busy quick.

Enjoy a sunny day at the park. This probably isn't in the guidebooks but it's a popular local hangout for families, hipsters, couples, and pretty much anyone! Pack a picnic.

Sightseeing

The iconic pink umbrellas are becoming one of Toronto's most photographed sights. Beware: this is not an actual beach. There is sand and muskoka chairs and umbrellas but no access to water. Bring a book and a picnic for a couple hours and enjoy the harbour view. Also kid friendly water fountains to play in.
