Parks & Nature
Highfields Country Park is at the end of the street, it is a nature reserve park and beautiful. I would recommend walking around it if you have time. If you walk through to the other side there is also a small community farm/petting zoo.

Cringle Park is a large park just the other side of Stockport Road, it also has courts for playing on.

A beautiful independent cinema, it is cheap and has very comfy seating with a great atmosphere. 20 minute walk or 7 minute drive away.
