If you're looking for live music and dancing then Rock N Roll Hotel on H Street is the place to be! For a good band it tends to be crowded, so get their early. The faux Tiffany lights are my favorite!

My favorite bar on H street! It has a eclectic collection of old Washington posters and a down-to-earth dive bar feel. It's small and often packed, but you can squeeze into a table at the back.

This entire stretch in the historic Barracks Row is a lovely space to find local restaurants and bars (plus Dunkin' Donuts and Starbucks). It is vibrant on the weekends. Visit it and Eastern Market!
